We are an independent dental hygiene practice that offers an alternative to traditional dentistry. It is our belief that dental care should be accessible to everyone, and by offering affordable dental hygiene solutions, even those without coverage can maintain proper oral health. At To The Root Dental Hygiene our focus is on oral health education and prevention of oral diseases.
We provide dental hygiene care, and refer patients requiring restorative work to their dentist of choice. We form relationships with our clients. By working with the same clinician with consistent appointments, we can easily detect changes in your dental health, and provide personalized care. It is optimal to have your dental hygiene care met at this clinic and see your dentist for the restorative work at their office.

Services
Why an independent dental practice? I chose an independent practice to be able to practice how I felt I could make the most impact with clients. If you want a more one on one experience where you have the same hygienist every time with a focus on prevention of oral diseases then I am your Registered Dental Hygienist.
X-rays and measurements of your gums to fully understand and go over your periodontal condition. Screen for abnormalities and cancer on the face, lips, tongue, gums, cheeks, tissues, or in the jawbone. A care plan with an emphasis on oral hygiene instructions for at home will be discussed with you based on your dental hygiene assessment.
We load up our gear, equipment and everything else that is needed and transport it to the location. You supply an electrical outlet and a sink nearby. It takes about 20 minutes to set up and can be offered in your home, seniors facility, or independent living situation. Sterile instruments are used for each client.

Fantastic service, warm and friendly environment, attention to detail, and she explains the whole process to you in detail if you are like me and prefer to know what is going on. Meg has a very trauma-informed approach with special attention to those that experience any dental anxiety. 10/10 recommend and would not go anywhere else!

Can't say enough positive things about To The Root. They are not only amazing at what they do, but they are also professional and accommodating. They have an excellent selection of interesting and high-end hygiene products that you can't find at the drug store, along with some drug store products at competitive prices. Meg is amazing! So friendly and so knowledgeable and always a wealth of information. One of the best (if not THE best!) dental cleanings I have ever had. Highly recommend!

Megan and her team were great to deal with for a cleaning for me and my two boys (2 and 5). Very professional and I learned more about my teeth in that one appointment than any other appointment before with a dentist. Very clean establishment and no waiting in a waiting area! I was in an out in 1.5 hours! Amazing 🤩

An amazing experience! I was very warmly welcomed and everything was explained to me. Meg is very knowledgeable and openly discussed any concerns with me. She was also very gentle during the cleaning, which is a huge thing for me! It was so affordable also, and that is what drew me there in the first place....so the excellent service on top of it all was a massive bonus! I highly recommend To the Root!

Meg is amazing! Highly recommend for adults and kids. Easily the best cleaning I’ve ever had, great pricing and super convenient to either go to the quiet office or have her set up as a mobile appt.
If you… have kids that have trouble with dental visits, try meg! My son has a developmental disability and needs sedation for cleanings/X-rays, etc. He sat for Meg at his second appt and let her clean his teeth. I’m amazed!! This is also my 3 yr old who has never sat for a cleaning before either.
You won’t regret going here for dental care and I bet you’ll be writing your

Highly recommend Meg and her team. Very professional, very friendly and excellent at what they do. My children all enjoyed their cleanings, I appreciated how easy it was to book and the amazing pricing. We have really good benefits but anytime we go to the dentist I still end up paying out of pocket. With the money I saved with Meg I was able to pick up some items to use at home to help my large family maintain our nice clean teeth. Can’t wait to book again!
