I ordered the Hungarian Goulash and was pleased to see that they had a dessert wine I had not been able to find except in Montreal but was disappointed as both were unavailable. However, the Chicken Stroganoff was very good. While a bit pricey the portion was a good size and filling. My server was attentive and very pleasant, good service.

Absolutely delicious food and great service! The staff went above and beyond with being super accommodating even though we were late to our reservation.
The food was amazing. Everyone seems to rave about the dill pickle soup and I'm glad I ordered it. Also had the escargots and I was skeptical about it but it was also excellent! The schnitzel and the perogies were made perfectly. Overall, it was a delightful experience that I'd recommend to anyone looking for a fancy night out.

They opened a new downtown location in December and it has the same amazing experience as the whyte ave location. It was the previously known as the hardware grill and it has the similar rustic- character of that legendary location with the added extraordinary food, service and hospitality. I'm happy this local restaurant is expanding their business. It is a worth a visit downtown to check out the awesome decor and stay there too.

This is one of our favourite restaurants in Edmonton - having frequented the establishment a few times over the last year or two. My wife and I met up with friends (who have been here numerous times as well - regulars for sure) and as always the service and the food were amazing. The Hungarian goulash, as well as the pork and chicken schnitzels were perfect - the mushroom sauce is divine. And of course the pickle soup and borscht were delicious. Nice selection of wines as well - we devoured two bottles. The brownie desert was also very nice - albeit a little drier than I’ve seen in the past

I really wanted to like this place, I read the reviews before going and it seemed great. My husband and I decided to go with some friends that were in town. It started off wonderfully, the server was such a sweet young girl and immediately took our order. However, the, assumed, manager was awful. At one point she got right up in the servers face and swore at her, I thought she was going to hit the poor girl! Completely unprofessional on the part of the manager and I hope she gets reprimanded. It was quite upsetting to see. Overall, very disappointed purely due to how the staff was treated. My husband

5 stars is just not enough for this lovely family run restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious! The service is impeccable! We have been there numerous times(dine in and take out)& still can't pick a favorite dish. From the bread to the desserts and extensive beverage list, it will all exceed your highest expectations. To top it all off, it is a gluten free restaurant!😋

After being diagnosed celiac for 10 years and to find an amazing gluten free restaurant with gluten free beer… on tap , I was just overwhelmed with all the options and no worries of cross contamination ! They have the most fantastic soups , main meals and desserts . Will definitely be back and will bring a healthy appetite as they have larger portions 🤗 #yegceliac #yegglutenfree #yegfood

Finally back to going to our favorite place! Sylvester has done an amazing remodel in the restaurant and… entrance! Good to see the staff back hard at work and providing excellent service! The food as always was amazing! My Father's Day Goulash and Dill Pickle soup was sooooo good! My wife had Chicken Stroganoff and flaczki. Huge smile on her face!! We highly reccomend a visit to Continental Treat!
