Cooks Bay Marina is one of Lake Simcoe's premier marina's and a short drive from the GTA. We welcome both sailors and power boaters to our protected harbour. With a wide variety of boats for rental, great staff, free wi-fi, and fun events all season long (as soon as we are allowed it will be happening again), Cooks Bay Marina promises to surpass your marina expectations!
At Cooks Bay Marina, we offer many amenities and services to our clients to enhance their boating seasons. Here you'll find a few of many. If you want to be a boater for a day, check out our boat rentals! Located beside the office we have our Food Truck Cooks By The Bay, where you can always find fresh food and snacks!
Have you never experienced a Pontoon before? So this is your chance to dive in and try out the new Starcraft LX 18 F with your friends and loved ones! With a 60HP engine, you have more than enough power to sail on the lake and have a great fishing experience. The new Starcraft LX 20 F is perfect for a family and friends (up to nine people) that want to enjoy the most of the lake.
Even by having a Seasonal (or a Day Pass), you MUST book your launch by choosing the type of service below. Choose your time slot, and remember to get at the Marina 15 min before your chosen time in order to get your boat ready for your launch. If you get late, we might have to reschedule your launch to respect the other boaters time frames.

If you really want to relieve some stress and have some bewildering outdoor adventures, Cooks Bay Marina is the place to be. The new motorized dog sleds are the greatest thing in the world and are so fun to zoom with on the lake. The service is absolutely incredible and everyone there is extremely nice. If you are looking to have some fun come to Cooks Bay Marina. I don't usually write reviews but this place was worthy of it!

This was truly a wonderful experience! The clubhouse lodging was comfortable, big, and it had everything you needed. The lake was so much fun, as it was frozen to play winter sports! Some of the winter sports included dog sleds, husky sleds and husky motorized sleds. These were amazing and I would love to come again really soon. The owner is amazing and a very understanding guy. He loves the people and is a very funny guy!

Amazing Experience! We spent last weekend there! The staff are very friendly and the service was phenomenal. We stayed in the Clubhouse lodging which was very clean and has everything you need. The food was amazing! The best part were the snowmobiles and the motorized sleds!! It was an exhilarating experience that I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

By far, BY FAR one of the best trips I’ve ever been on IN MY LIFE! The first time I went ice fishing and I can confidently say it trumps regular fishing; the amount of fish caught couldn’t be counted. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m an A1 fisher or if it’s simply the location but it couldn’t hurt your chances to head up there and give it a try. While you’re there, give their dogsleds a try as well. Driving their dogsleds gave a sense of exhilaration you can’t find anywhere else; it’s something about having an entire frozen bay as your playground that can feel so very freeing

For all the therapists out there, if any of your patients are depressed, I suggest prescribing a one-way trip to COOKS BAY MARINA! It really can turn that frown upside down. To my beloved reader, believe me when I tell you that I never EVER write online reviews. However, there is something different about this marina that I needed to share with the world. If you are sad, Cooks Bay Marina will make you happy. If you are worried, Cooks Bay Marina will make you forget about your anxieties. Even if you are happy, Cooks Bay Marina will make you even happier;) It truly was a transformative experience

We had a wonderful time today at your marina !! Every year we rent a boat with our family , as usual the customer service is excellent . Your boats are always cleaned in between uses, and the boat crew are very professional ! Annette was very cheerful, helpful and gives exceptional customer service !!! Well done , we definitely be back !!!

They are trying to bring too many outsiders to our extremely small community and turn it into the city. the locals are treated like crap and no one respects the fact we live here. they bring people in who jam up our very tiny little beach so we can't even use it and now they want to build a concrete bunch of buildings in our area destroying wetlands and forest.

I personally love the smaller Mariana’s. Only learning to sail since spring 2019. Not so intimidating as big Marinas... smiles i have spent most of my free time up there opening up the sailboat for Grassroots… Sailing Club. Totally in love with my new hobby. Marina is under new management! Good to see;-) a paint job on main house would be giving you that “Wow “factor too! I even hear you are going to have ice fishing huts this winter. That truly would be something I have not experienced yet either
