I would NOT recommend this place. Dishonest and unprofessional service.
Wanted to simply get my eyes checked and asked if I could get my PD measurements as well thereafter incase I didn't like any frames that the store had. I was told by employee that I would be able to after my exam by asking the doctor.
When I had finished my appointment, I asked for my PD measurements and was told that I had to buy frames from the store for it to be given to me. If I knew this was their business practice I wouldn't have went there in the first place. I respect a business trying to bring in money in times like

Our whole family are customers of Purba Vision Father Tobin since 2016 when we moved back from Alberta. We always have excellent service here and they are very understanding and give good suggestions and always excellent customer service. We want to Thank Reena especially for when we are there she explains things and make good suggestions and help us get things done. Reena is especially good at helping with paperwork and contacting insurance companies, submitting paperwork and mailing and faxing stuff. We really appreciate all of this because it makes things easier for us and to get things done

Gary is very professional and accommodating to my family and our vision needs. He made sure that covid 19 protocols were followed and insured my 2 kids and wife were safe. Today I went to buy new prescription glasses . I said that I wanna go for testing first as she said it’s free and asked for my insurance number. By the time I came out she claimed all of my insurance money of 300$ even without buying glasses. Very frustrating and will be making sure none of my connections are going there any time in future.Btw they charged 50$ from insurance and 10$ from my own money for the testing as I did not buy with them.

Held my money for 45 days but I haven’t received a refund nor have I received the product. The owner Jay was arrogant and said- Do whatever you can. Highly unprofessional service, no apology and yelled to his customers on the phone. This was at mclaughlin and Raylawson location- please do not visit this place. There are many businesses which treat customers with respect

I recently received a prescription for new bifocals. The previous pair cost $450, so I decided to look around for a better deal. I was originally planning to get quotes from 3 stores, when a flyer from Purba arrived. The headline "Senior's Discount" caught my eye. All 4 places that I visited claimed to have a sale on; however, the $200 quote that I received from Purba was by far the best price. I was told that if I wanted transitions lenses, the total cost would be $295. I immediately placed my order.
