Powers of attorney allow individuals to give substitute decision-making power over their health and finances to people they trust. What happens when an attorney under a power of attorney violates that trust and abuses his or her power? What do you do if you are accused of abusing your power as an attorney?

My husband Brad and I have nothing but high praise for Jasmine Sweatman and her very kind and professional team. Jasmine brought a whole new perspective to bear on our somewhat complex estate planning, one which has brought us peace of mind during these anxious and stressful times. We so appreciated the clarity of Jasmine's explanations, the efficiency with which everything was handled, and the respect that we were shown during our in-person (socially distanced) visits as well as during our online correspondence. Jasmine helped me address my lengthy legal matters, even though I had to remotely do it all via phone and email. Professional appointment management and invoicing, with clear, concise answers to my questions, providing guidance on legal process and relevant advice and estimates based her previous experience. Much appreciated.

Jasmine, one of the founders, was very rude, unitelligent, uninformed and had the worst attitude I've experienced in years while doing business. She looked like she was drunk and was even late.
Don't take law lightly, it is very important to make sure you have a professional team handling your estate. You do NOT want to be giving this group any business. Jasmine is a complete mess.
