Waterdown Driving School
We're proud to offer both G2 and G RoadTest Packages that give students the additional instruction and practice that can help boost their confidence for road tests. These packages include instructor assistance on test day, use of a company vehicle for testing, and complimentary pickup and drop off.

Let's be honest; teaching new drivers can be hard on your vehicle and a little nerve-wracking. That's why for our teaching cars we use only safety-certified modern compact sedans with dual braking systems and roof-mounted signage that clearly shows other drivers they're sharing the road with a learning student.
Services
Waterdown Driving School has the goal to give every student, either new or experienced, the training, tools, and skills they need to be safe, courteous, and confident drivers for life. We currently have no classroom, as our in-class portion is offered online through Trubicars. Our instructors are all provincially accredited and registered with the Ministry of Transportation.
We generally take new students at the beginning and middle of each month, so we can space them out and get them done in a timely fashion. Simply pick the starting time you wish and at the beginning of each slot you'll be registered for the online course and can begin! Time slots fill quickly, so it's best to register early.
1) G1 Licensing: To get your G1 License (which entitles you to learn in-car driving) you must be at least 16 years old, pass a vision test, and pass a written test about the rules of the road and traffic signs. Your G1 License allows you to learn in-car driving while with a fully licensed driver and under certain restrictions.
Thank you to past and current students and families for voting us Waterdown's best driving school for a sixth year in a row! Register early to automatically save on your Beginner Driver Education course. The 2nd and subsequent children from the same household in the same class receive $25 off courses.

Got both my G2 and G with this school and the classes were very helpful. I would not have been able to pass without Jasons help. He went out of his way to make sure I would be ready and I really appreciated it so much.

Horrible driving school and really overpriced. I still can't believe this business still exists. My first lesson my instructor shows up 40 minutes late and wasted an hour driving around without teaching me anything. The instructor told one of my friends I was a bad driver when it was the first time I had every gotten in a car. Another point is that a business should not talk about their customers and especially behind their backs. The owner cut 30 minutes into my lessons because I "lived to far away" when it is a 15 minute from the school to my house. I probably would have failed my road test if

Our son was pleased with both his instructors. They were knowledgeable and informative and prepared him well for his driver's test which he passed on his first attempt.
He gained a better understanding of driving regulations and driver's etiquette.
Their classes improved his skills and road awareness making him a safer driver and their schedule was flexible and accommodating for his busy sports schedule.
I highly recommend Waterdown Driving School!

The actual instruction and in car lessons were good. The organizational skills leave a lot to be desired. We were told the course ran Friday to Sunday, this was confirmed via email, my daughter as well as several other students showed up to a locked door. My daughter spent 8 hours in town waiting for me to get off work so I could pick her up, we don't live in Waterdown and she had no way to get home. We are very busy people and were not able to get to the Monday session, nor any other of the scheduled sessions After a very aggravating "negotiating " with the owner he agreed to give her a private

Lifeline Driver Training prepared 4 of my kids for driving. The instructor was patient, friendly and even talked with them about life in general. They were all properly prepared for driving and appreciated the instructors listening ear very much. I highly recommend Lifeline!

I started to learn how to drive well above learning age. I did not drive before at all and started with in class lessons. They were wery helpful and they had a lot of useful information.
I was surprised about Jason's patience and knowledge; not even once he was late for in-class or driving lesson!
He is a great teacher and experienced instructor, he makes you feel confident what is the most important thing when you only start to drive.
I passed a road G2 last Friday! Thanks Jason!!! You are the best!

The new owner for this school (Jason) is great to learn from. He takes a lot of time to answer questions in class and makes it fun. In car, he's patient and really cares that you learn how to be a safe driver. The course is affordable, especially considering how much time you spend one-on-one with the in-car instructor. I'll definitely recommend WDS to parents with teens getting ready for their G1/G2.
