We only use products that are harvested, caught or raised hours from your table, not days.

I’m usually skeptical of tourist haunts but this was really a great place with impeccable service and delicious food that was quickly devoured by the table. Like everyone says put yourself on the waitlist and you can get a table relatively quickly. We loved the food so much that it was probably the best meal of our trip - we had oysters, mussels, seafood melt, the chowder and a carrot cake.

Absolutely loved both visits!
Staff is beyond expectation with great personalities, attention to detail, knowledge and representation of a fine dining establishment!
At the Blue Mussel, all of the foods served are beautifully plated and a pleasure to savour bite after bite! All foods served were fresh, flavour filled and prepared to perfection!!!
It was my pleasure to tip twenty percent as a small way to say thank you for the entire experience ❣️

Visiting from British Columbia, we had lunch at the Blue Mussel Cafe today. The food was amazing! The staff were incredible! Top notch service and food to die for. We can’t say enough good things about it. We loved it so much, we may just go back tomorrow for dinner. If you visit PEI, the Blue Mussel Cafe is a must.
We ended up going back the next day for dinner and the following day (our last day in PEI) for lunch. Seafood Bubbly Bake….DELICIOUS!!!

Their patio had a great water view and they provide warm blankets for you to enjoy the view and food if you're feeling cold.
The food was all spectacular and the staff are all very friendly and upbeat! Try their mussels, I mean it's in the name!
We had alot of food on our east coast trip but this had to be the best overall lunch! Highly recommended!

Excellent food and staff. For quicker seating choose inside or out. We had a 30-45min wait on a very windy day but were seated within 5 mins outside.
The owner came out to chat with us a couple of times. They have another restaurant with the same staff in Charlotte town. This is a must eat place. Food was fantastic. We had the bubbly bake, chowder and chowder poutine. Bubbly bake is a must try for sure but all items were delicious!

This place is perfect. I have been here at least 10 times since it opened (and I don't even live in PEI).
This place is almost always busy but don't take reservations, so I recommend either calling ahead to get on the wait list or add yourself to it through Yelp.
The staff is always friendly and helpful with suggestions if you need it.
The food is always on point. I've had a number of items and while they're all great, I would recommend the vegan mushroom wellington and the farmers greens salad.
If you're in the area, I definitely suggest stopping in.
