As a young man, he trained with one of the masters in Persian Classical painting, who taught him the elements and harmony of colour and design. Later, he learned his business skills by working closely with one of the most well-known merchants in Iran, a man by the name of Hadj Sayed Hassan Farshchi.

Over many years, Mr. Rahim's dedication, commitment, and hard work made him one of the most well-respected rug purveyors in the Bazaar in Tehran. Particularly interested in exporting high quality, Persian handmade rugs to clients in Europe, North and South America and Asia, he started working with most reputable wholesale and retail companies allowing him to recognize the market's need and tastes, making him an expert in the field of marketing.

We highly recommend shopping for Oriental Carpets. at Pazyryk Art Ltd.
Having previously visited another carpet showroom, which could best be described as a glitzy but generic carpet warehouse, it was a relief to enter Pazyryk and find a pleasant, welcoming gallery with a superb collection of wonderful carpets.
Proprietors Mohammad Rahim and Amitiss Nazakati are kind and genuine people. There is no mistaking that Persian and Oriental carpets are Mohammad’s passion. He derives tremendous energy from his visually stimulating wares, and he obviously loves the entire process of design, production

You have to go here! Seeing is believing ... I was swept away by the artistry and the passionate service from the owners. Now I have a spectacular Persian silk that makes my heart sing ... and it couldn;t have happened anywhere else because the owners took such care in educating, advising and being generously patient as I discovered a new world! . They know how to purchase the best and have a wide range of prices from entry level to collectors. This is a shop with high integrity. I left knowing I'd be back.

We love our Persian rugs from Pazyryk Art! They are truly works of art on our floors that we enjoy every day. Mohammed and Amitiss have set up a beautiful shop and provided extraordinary service to us and taught us much more about handmade rugs. We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with them and their family.

We recently purchased two Persian rugs from Mohammed and his lovely wife at Pasyryk Arts. We are thrilled with our purchase but even more so with the wonderful service we received, including fresh coffee and chocolates while we shopped and learned. We were allowed to take several carpets home to try them in our space before making a final decision. This was so helpful as a Persian rug is a big ticket item and we wanted to be sure we 'got it right.' We especially loved hearing the stories behind each rug as we learned about the artisans, regions the rugs were created and significance of the patterns
