Boft Fine Rugs' collection is beautiful and Ali is an incredible resource about the history and craftsmanship of Persian and Oriental carpets. He is passionate about his craft and his family-run shop was very welcoming when we had our three young kids in tow to select a carpet for our home. These are true heirlooms to be treasured for generations.

Ali picked up our beautiful rug and did a fantastic job on cleaning it. It takes a bit of time to do but the results were amazing. Fresh and colours popped like new. It's about 25 years old. Not old, according to Ali, he mentioned it should last at least another 25 years and perhaps 100 if care is well taken. Highly recommend!

The experience at Boft Fine Rugs was unique. It is about much more than simply buying a rug. Ali and his staff are passionate about their inventory. Ali is incredibly knowledgeable and shares of this knowledge in a friendly and engaging way. Choosing a rug becomes as much an educational journey through the world of a craft that is thousands of years old and steeped in history and tradition. You come away feeling enriched by the experience. Rarely does the purchase of a significant item for your house leave you feeling richer. We cannot recommend Ali and Boft Fine rugs enough.

The incredible story of just one fine Persian rug - no matter where it's made - is amazing! Certain villages in Iran, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, and elsewhere in south-central Asia house carpet designers and artisans who have a particular style in making the finest they are capable of. Their expertise is so well tailored to their craft that each quality carpet is a separate work of art, that in turn defines the village and its ancestry in very cool ways.

I had a great experience at Boft Fine Rug Gallery and highly recommend them. They have very knowledgeable and friendly staff, as well as an enormous amount of carpets and rugs to choose from. I highly recommend checking this place out for any carpet and rug needs. Also, their cleaning and repairs are an excellent service.

I was looking for a Persian rug to furnish my office. I shopped around - as one does - and discovered a few shops in Calgary. Not knowing anything about rugs I asked a lot of questions. It did not take long to learn that there are a lot of fake "50% discount ~ Going out of business sale" *scams*. I discovered Boft in Inglewood in 2011. No pressure and no slippery sales talk. Ali knows and loves rugs and he happily recited everything I wanted to know about their history, the people that worked on them, and the meanings of their symbols.
