The little store that grew is the single largest Big & Tall clothing store in Ontario. Providing high quality big & tall menswear to Hamilton, Burlington, Ancaster and surrounding areas. Parking is available for 24 cars beside our building. We are able to provide all manner of big & tall clothing, twelve months of the year.

Services
Family owned and operated at the same location since 1954. In the beginning Gilbert and Stella were making pants and suits for customers of all shapes and sizes. Across from Gilbert's was a television station (CHCH TV) where wrestling was filmed every Friday night. It became a ritual for the wrestlers to come over after a match to get fitted up for their special sized clothing.

Excellent store!! The staff is so nice, find mothers that ACTUALLY FIT, after 20 years I know what a proper fit feels like! No shame or awkward moments with staff, very kind and extremely helpful and knowledgeable about fit.

Wow. What an amazing place. Incredibly friendly, helpful and non judgemental. After a day of hunting for dress pants that fit my covid waistline, I got the most AMAZING pants that not only fit perfectly, but also super durable, comfy, and made in Canada. Hemmed perfect and complimentary. I live out of town and I'm never shopping anywhere else for work pants again. Can't recommend this place enough.

What a wonderful place and extremely caring and loving staff.
My extremely tall husband find everything that he was in need for. Jackets, blazer , suits , casual and dress shirts. I am really impressed with the hospitality of the staff and can't praise enough how caring all of them were. This is a family business and they make u feel like a family too.

They are a great family run business that cares about the customers, the same way today as they did 60 years ago. It is this customer care that has made them a landmark in the Golden Horseshoe! Today during a snow storm, they planned on closing early but stayed open late cause I was coming down to the store to shop. Amazing! Best of luck in the upcoming years of business.
