Services
If you are concerned about your hearing or if a family member or friend has mentioned to you that you are not hearing well, you should book an appointment for a hearing screening. It does not cost anything* and it is not painful. We will book you for an hour appointment and our Hearing Instrument Practitioner (HIP) will check inside your ears to make sure your ear canals are clear of wax and your ear drums are healthy looking.
There is no charge for a hearing screening unless there is a physician's report, employment report or medical report of any kind. Any costs incurred that are not covered by insurance or employer will be issued via paid invoice from us*, and you will be able to claim it on your taxes for medical expenses.

From reception through to examinations and testing, all services are provided. I found they were familiar with out of province coverage and assisted greatly in providing my father with the best hearing options available. Examinations and testing done by John Crockroft. Using his years of expertise and the most up to date technology, John was able to provide my father with the most improvement in his hearing he has had so far. He had been to other clinics on the lower mainland without anywhere near the successful results provided by Qualicum Hearing Clinic. Thank you for your great service.

I was referred to John by a neighbour and friend, as she had been going to him for quite awhile to help with her hearing loss. After going to see him, and after all that he has done to help me with my hearing loss, I felt that I had to post a review. John was not only professional in all that he did for me, he was also genuine in his concern for my particular problems, and came up with the best and the most cost effective solution for my needs.
In my follow up visits, he is always welcoming, and deals with my issues with care. I cannot say enough good about John and his clinic. I wouldn't go anywhere

Dr. Cockcroft took the time to work with our son to determine he has a significant hearing loss. He is very professional and knowledgeable. We are very thankful that we found him. He is excellent on explaining what is required and prepares you for what to expect. He ensures you understand and are happy. He truely wants a better quality of life for you through better hearing. Definitely recomend him. He has two offices one in Parksville which is very handy for both Parksville and Qualicum Beach.

I cannot speak too highly of the excellent services rendered by Jon Cockcroft, with helper Barbara, at Qualicum Hearing Clinic. My wife and I have been supplied with state-of-the -art hearing aids with regular maintainance visits for many years. It is always a pleasure to visit for an appointment...Jon is very good at explainng the latest technology....always a joy to talk to him!

I have worn hearing aids for over 50 years. About 3 years ago I went for the first time to Jon Cockcroft to get an aid for both ears, and Jon's service and advice has been better and more helpful than any I recall having from any previous provider. His help has been invariably excellent and has continued well after the initial purchase. I would unreservedly recommend Jon to anyone who has a need for advice on purchasing an aid.
