Each Kindermusik class is a world of discovery and adventure. In every class, you'll witness your child's developmental evolution in language skills, literacy, listening, problem solving, social skills, self-esteem, and musicality. And it happens within a nurturing environment-full of energy, imagination, music, dancing, and playful delight.
Why can't my 5-year-old take private lessons? Because we've got the best program already in place for them! Kindermusik Level 5 is an exceptional, award-winning program where students will learn all the fundamentals to be prepared to take private music lessons, but in an age-appropriate, fun group setting.
Music therapy is used in group sessions or one-to-one using music and sound to heal the physical, emotional, cognitive, social and spiritual health. It is the clinical use of musical interventions by a Certified Music Therapist, who creates a trusting client- therapist relationship and develops individualized goals based on the client's abilities and needs.
From the moment you pick up your music, you feel part of something special in our groups. We have the perfect atmosphere for young beginner musicians in our Kids Chorale and Beginner Band, with performances throughout the year.

Kindermusik is an amazing experience for my daughter. She’s 18 months old now but we’ve been going for over a year now. She’s hard of hearing which poses a challenge in our daily life, but at kindermusik she shines! She can be herself and she loves music so much. I love that the teachers use sign language incorporated in classes as ASL will be her second language! We look forward to music class every week (not just her, me too!). It’s always a great experience! I can’t wait to have her grow up attending joyful sounds for things other than kindermusik I am sure!

My girls have been going to music classes at Joyful Sounds for the last eight years. It’s such a wonderful studio, with amazing teachers and a fun and engaging program that is perfect for kids. My girls started at six months old in the baby class, and continued through to young child and piano classes. Joyful sounds has definitely instilled a love of music in my girls, and has taught them to read and appreciate music. I highly recommend this studio!

Our daughter has a brain condition that has cause some developmental delays. We started her in Kindermusik soon after we adopted her and watching her improved development and her love for music grow is truly amazing. Music really is therapy. We are now in year 3 at Joyful sounds and it is my daughter absolute favourite place. Every teacher is AMAZING. I can’t sing their praises enough.

I've had each of my four kids enrolled at various times for various instruments and classes at Joyful Sounds over the past few years. What has impressed me the most has been the personalized approach that each of the amazing teachers took with each kid. It's a great environment and Miss Louise and her crew are incredible.

Joyful sounds is one of our favourite spots. I learned about the studio when searching for infant music classes in the area. My son LOVES his kindermusik class and smiles everytime he sees his teacher Miss Louise. I enjoy co ing to the studio so much, I started learning guitar with one of the teachers! Miss Louise is knowledgeable about the kindermusik program and how music can help children to develop. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

My daughter has been going to Kindermusik classes at Joyful Sounds since she was 2.5 months, she responded to them immediately and gets so much delight out of her weekly classes. All of the teachers are incredible with what they do and work so well with the children. I have learned a lot from the teachers about how music impacts children and development. I would highly recommend Joyful Sounds, it is an excellent opportunity for both children and parents to socialize and learn together.

Joyful Sounds Music Studio is a great find for families looking for an array or music lessons. The studio offers Kindermusik for babies right through to private lessons for ages 7 thru adult, in addition to chorale and band. Louise and her staff go to great efforts to make their students and families feel at home while providing excellent lesson quality and reasonable pricing. They also put a lot of time and creativity into their holiday and recital activities in addition to other fun events and celebrations throughout the year.
