Shrinkage cracks in poured walls are the result of concrete drying and should not be confused as a structual crack. When excavated we found a failed peel and stick waterproofing method that had to be removed. To repair these cracks we use our exterior method. This method requires the excavation of land in the affected area to below the footing.
Hydrostatic floor pressure shows itself by having water come through the cracks in the concrete floor slab. Another form of hydrostatic floor pressure is when the foundation wall becomes detached from the floor slab and water penetrates through that open space, this will let you know that your water level is high and drainage is poor.
Minor cracks form in the foundation of your house from settlement, minor water damage and concrete drying. It is very important to identify the crack in the foundation to be sure it is a minor crack that can be injected to prevent any further water damage to your home's foundation. We also provide concrete stitching which is done with carbon fiber material to eliminate movement in the foundation.
