Brought my waverunner in to be serviced. Explained to them my problem that it would not accelerate, they took my machine said it ran fine swapped out a battery and it cost me 200 bucks. went back to the water and the same problem . They then told me they have to bring it to the water and test it at 115$ a hour. Very bad communication skills with the me the customer. I then brought my machine to A+ small engine repair guy was great he told me he will have it apart and fixed and before i get it back he will take it out to the water NO CHARGE and make sure it works before i get it back. Samantha Haldenby was the sales agent that answered my request. She was fast, professional and courteous. The transaction had hiccups which she addressed in a timely manner and had the situation back in control. Thanks to Denise who delivered the goods safely and thanks for his continuous communication through out the delivery process. As well, thanks to anyone who was working in the back office that made this transaction works. This place is so much better now that the old original staff is all gone. They kept the only two worth keeping. The new service advisor is 1000 x's better than the last guy, a proper finance office now, parts staff that care, more than one salesperson now, licensed technicians (unlike their competitors--yes ask before you drop your bike off to get fixed over there), almost doubled the employee count from the JVH days, huge choice of helmets, jackets, shirts, and apparel, and have expanded the product line-up so there's something for everyone. If you go any where else you're a fool!!!!!

I left my visa number to hold a machine for a few days while my house was closing and i was told that this was "no problem buddy" After not answering my phone call for a few days i found out that they sold my machine from under me. very slimy move guys! OMVIC opened an incident report and is looking into what happened. If there was a zero star i would be choosing it!

My dad and I bought a 4 HP Yamaha outboard here for a boat we have in a remote area. Before it was out of warranty the motor wasn't working. We were told that "adjustments are not covered by warranty". What really bothers me is we bought a Yamaha since they are supposed to be bulletproof. The place we use it is a mile and a half walk on a rocky trail past our camp that is about 50 km north or Searchmont and requires an atv and crossing the lake with a boat. Then the other mile and a half. We didn't plan on carrying the motor in and out. I really wasnt happy when my 65 year old father told me it

We just had the best experience ever purchasing a new 2021 Yamaha snowmobile remotely as we are west of Winnipeg!
They actually returned my call which is an anomaly here in Manitoba!
The entire staff at River City went above and beyond as they could easily have sold this Sidewinder XTX LE locally but made it happen for me and within days it was delivered to my door 15 hours drive from SSM!
Our local dealerships should take note!

Can't say enough about Gerald and his crew at Rivercity. On a sled trip far far from home I encountered a mechanical issue. We arrived just at closing, they stayed a bit late to get us into the shop. The crew at Rivercity had my machine back on the trails before lunch the next day. They truly understand what people go through on these big sled trips. Thanks Rivercity
