Very unethical business. Without providing any legal advice or consultation, they charged me for a consultation $252, even though was their lawyer who told that she didn't have the time to take over my case. I even told them that I didn't want to be charge for a consultation that didn't happen because it was the lawyer who said she wasn't able to take over my case because she didn't have time until 2 months later. I needed to have the case moving in the next few days. They ended up charging me for a "legal consultation" that never happen. Be careful with this firm, they take your money unethically

Their lawyer Fatima Qamar assisted me in two residential tenancy board (RTB) arbitrations and helped me win both times, I would highly recommend this lawyer. These tend to be stressful situations when it, unfortunately, comes to it. Fatima acted as a grounding point, helping assuage my worries both leading up to and at the hearings.

This Law Firm is a joke. Just read the responses by the firm dismissing all bad reviews. I have used this Firm before and had a ok experience. Overbilling was the only issue as my file was billed extra time when a form should be completed quicker. You pay for a service of $300 per hour and instead the firm has an university student complete forms with mistakes. Avoid this place.

I went in for a consultation at Deer Lake Law, and was extremely happy with how well it went. Antonio was super friendly and easy to talk to; he didn't mind how many times I asked him to clarify something that I didn't quite understand, and he explained things to me in layman's terms when possible.
