Schembri Property Management

At first, some of the reviews had us questioning Schembri. But then we noticed all competitors have similar reviews. People complain over little things. Christina at Schembri was so patient and understanding with us and really helped make this process easy and no stress. My daughter has loved her room and living the University life with her friends. Thanks Christina and team.

A 1 star is overrated for their work and professionalism
Edit: I have reached out multiple times regarding issues of parking and apartment maintenance. I am still having a hard time with the staff about these issues.
I have purchased a parking pass in 75 Columbia, and I have been told that I cannot let visitors park with my pass as they will be ticketed. Way to welcome guests to my house… waking up with a parking ticket even after displaying a pass!

This is my third year at Schembri. My first year was at 203 Albert Street which is owned by another company and that was a nightmare year. I’m glad that everything at Schembri has been smooth and very few issues. We did have a garbage issue with bugs but that is more because of tenants being slobs. However, Schembri has an employee who checks the garbage room regularly to make sure messes aren’t left!!

I live at 347 Spruce. It’s not the most modern building in the world but it’s awesome for the money and close to Conestoga Mall and UW. Worth it and I would recommend. My friend lives at 69 Columbia at Schembri and those units are huge and each bedroom has a kitchen.

I dealt with Wen and moved into 69 Columbia. I like that my room has it’s own mini fridge and kitchenette. Roomates can’t take my hang over food lol. Thank you schembri!!

For anyone who is balancing on the positive and negative posts. Wish mine could help you on making a choice.
Shembri has a group of really warmful and enthusiastic salespeople. I had Cristina as my agent. She is very patient of showing me around the building, answering every question and concern that I had. She always responded promply. I even had her reply to my question around 11:00 p.m.
I signed a contract for 1 Columbia Street West, which is the one had the most negative posts I think when I was considering leasing. I was really worried about the living environment after I signed the lease

I took back whatever I said before. They have bugs in the apartment. They refused to clean them and they said bugs are caused by me…
That is nonsense. The flies fly from the hallway…
Anyway, run away from this property asap!!!
Employees of this company are very friendly. When I started to find an apartment, the rental sales of this company patiently answered questions and helped me take pictures of the house. I’m very skeptical at first to rent at Schembri after reading the reviews online, but 3 months in to my lease and so far it’s been good! There were little bumps during move in, but the staff has been responsive and resolve my minor concerns as fast as they could. No student housing is perfect, but I like that I am able to get a hold of someone and a resolution is being made.

The company has a very cheap pricing(both housing and parking), and I felt very easy to sign with them. They do specifically tell you everything in advance, such as parking is paid by term. I had Chris for my customer service, had to say that she's much much more nice than those people working for Accommoda8u. Haven't moved in yet, but I'd say she was very considerate, booked me a place for parking, gave me advices, helped me with payments, and all my inquiries. Looking forward to move in.

These people have shut down Air Conditioning in September, I live on 275 Larch where there are doors and only one small openable window. Because of Air conditioning being shut down by the management we suffocate every single day. We cannot keep the doors open due to insects storming in the apartment.
