Owners are absolutely awful people. We camped there for one night and left due to a rainstorm. After arriving back the next morning, our things had been removed from our site and our items completely ruined by the intoxicated owner who had packed everything up. He assumed we 'abandoned' our campsite.
Disgusting excuse for a campground.

Extremely disappointed. When I called to book a site the woman was nice and said the area we were in was full service and when I enquired she said water, power and sewer. When we arrived it was just water and power. She also said the area had some trees in between sites but was not a fully private area because it was the overflow side. I was ok with this but again when we got there it was a field and the trees looked like they were just planted. The map also specifies washrooms all around the site but they were all locked which was unfortunate even with a washroom in our trailer they aren't following

TRAILERS ONLY. My family and friends books here every year for the last 8 years. We are a large group about 20 ppl over 4 sites. She is rude on the phone when we call then nice to us when we show up. Again we love this park.
This year with covid19, not listed on their website, they want trailers with bathrooms only. We had planned on adding a portable toilet to our camping gear as we are tent family. She told us that we need a trailer, when we said we don't want to rent a trailer she said we have to do things we don't want to. I guess that excludes the campground providing clean washrooms. I get

Our experience at Great Woods was a good time, a little bit of rain but didn't stop the good times that were had. One thing that was a little discouraging was random people would run threw empty camp sites beside us. Overall it was a good time, the people that worked there were very courteous and helpful. We will definently be returning.

Would have given a higher rating but was turned off by camp 'sheriff' that came by every night like clockwork. The lady kept telling us to keep down the noise and watch our language. Really? On July long weekend? We turned off our music but apparently our conversation was still too loud. The campground is nice. The fellow campers are nice. There is a lot of older people though, so it might be a better idea to find a campground with people your age. I won't spend money to camp here again.
