Dr. Nicole Hewitt graduated from Pacific University in 2012, completed her residency in Ocular Disease and Refractive Surgery at Eye Care Associates of Nevada in 2013 and completed a low vision observer-ship at the Center For The Partially Sighted in California in 2015. She has practiced all over Vancouver Island, and has been practicing with Dr. Morin, Dr. Joslin & Associates at their Sooke Location, since 2015.
Your Doctor of Optometry is able to treat and manage a variety of ocular diseases and conditions for all ranges, including but not limited to strabismus and amblyopia, glaucoma, cataracts, uveitis, conjunctivitis, retinal disease, and corneal dystrophies. Our Doctors will work closely with you and your team of doctors to provide you with the best care possible.
We have a wide selection of glasses frames, lenses, sunglasses, safety glasses, swimming goggles, low vision devices, and even cheaters. We have experts on hand to help you throughout the selection and fitting process. Great experience having an eye exam here! Booking the appointment over the phone was very easy, and the receptionists were very friendly. Lots of parking is always a plus. The appointment was about 40 minutes, and everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind. I appreciated everyone explaining the test they were doing. 10/10 experience, and I look forward to picking out a new pair of glasses here!

A very professional office. The receptionist was great
on the phone when I made the apointment and greeted me when I entered the clean bright office. The prescreening attendant and the knowledgable optometrist both explained everything as they checked the health of my eyes. I was there for a routine exam and health check. The testing equipment was comfortable and clean. There is a nice variety of designer frames, a disposable contacts collection and no high pressure sales to buy glasses. I would highly recommend this buisness for family eyecare.

My experience at Sooke Eyecare was 5 star from the moment I walked in the door. The front staff greeted me professionally and made me feel comfortable right away. I was directed efficiently to the pre-screening testing and was guided through each step. I was taken to the doctors office without having to wait and was given the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. I learned many things about my eye health. I arranged for have appointments for my two sisters and myself scheduled together The staff was very accommodating, ensuring our appointments were back to back. The staff from the front office right through to choosing frames were incredibly professional. We were extremely pleased with our experience and ordered several pairs of glasses. I am indebted to Dr. Mann who took the time to research the pre-existing condition of my sister to ensure nothing got missed.

Recently moved to Sooke and needed a screw for the arm of my wife's glasses. I took them in and was told since I didn't purchase them here I'd be charged 35$.!.for a 2ยข screw?! and maybe 5min of labour!? I expected a small fee,without issue,but 35! Pure greed. The dr.should be ashamed. The young girl I behind the desk I think was going to do it for me but was cut off when one of the dr.'s overheard.
So much for the friendly small town feel,and people having each other's back! I guess my family and I will continue to drive into Langford instead of becoming patients of a place that clearly is only
