Our studio was excited to win the small business of the year award and strives for excellence in teaching & developing dancers in our communities & surrounding areas.
Turning Pointe offers three dance studios and classes in ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, tap, pointe, acro, contemporary, pointe, & acting! We offer experienced instructors who have a commitment to updating their own skills and are able to bring creative and current dance skills and knowledge to our studio.

Services
Nestled in the Beauty of the Crowsnest Pass learn all disciplines of dance from our experienced and dedicated staff. We began our journey in 2001 running out of Maple View Hall in Bellevue with 1 studio & 1 instructor. 18 years later we have found our permanent home in Hillcrest with 3 studios & 6 instructors!
Our studio has 3 studios; A, B & C. We have a large office space located at the front of the building where families can register for classes, check-in with our office staff on what's going on & view classes going on in Studio A & B. We have a large dressing room with lockers for all dancers of all ages to use free of charge!
Meetings take place the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7:00 P.M. at the Hillcrest Miners Club! The CPDFS consists of parents supporting their children who are pursuing dance with the Turning Pointe Dance Studio. Due to this all parents automatically become members of the society. Your participation is greatly appreciated and very much relied upon.
Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms. Body placement, flexibility, alignment, strength, and technique are achieved through barre and center floor work. Ballet teaches strength, discipline & grace. TPDS offers ballet classes from Twinkle Star (ages 3-4) to senior levels. All Ballet classes are taught under the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus.
Here at Turning Pointe Dance Studio, we pride ourselves in high-quality dance instruction for children of all ages & abilities. Dance is a powerful ally for many attributes of a growing & developing child. Our preschool classes focus on teaching proper dance techniques while fostering children's development of Social, Physical, Intellectual, Creative & Emotional skills.

Me and my partner worked with Rebecca to choreography a first dance. Rebecca was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was so easy going and patient when I couldn't get the moves right. I can't say enough positive things about our experience with her. I would highly recommend her and the studio.

I have a niece who has been a member of your dance studio for, I believe, 4 years. Her name is Megan Hurst. I've watched her grow from a cute little girl who loved to dance and jump around, into a lovely young, graceful ray of sunshine. My heart swells when I watch her dance, what ever the genre. All of you, whether you are instructors/choreographers, assistants/helpers, organizers or parents, have worked with these young girls through the years, as they move up through the programs and discover how to express themselves through dance.
