Welcome to the Kemptville District Minor Hockey Association, home of the Kemptville Royals and the Kemptville Storm!. Building on over 45 years of successful community involvement, the Kemptville District Minor Hockey Association (KDMHA) offers skills development, recreation, exercise, and fun to kids in Kemptville and the surrounding area.
The KDMHA not only assists in improving hockey skills, but also has a role in developing social skills and building self-confidence. None of this would be possible without all the dedicated volunteers that give their time and care ensuring that hockey is alive and well in Kemptville. A big thank you to all these dedicated souls!

Services
KDMHA Provides All Players: Game (Home and Away) jerseys and socks. Jerseys are returned at the end of the year, socks are players to keep. For U7 (IP), practice jerseys are not required, Timbit jerseys (returned at end of year) and socks are provided. The uninitiated parent will soon discover that buying hockey gear for kids isn't as simple as it might appear-there's a lot your child is going to need.
KDMHA has wonderful community support from various organizations that provide assistance to families so that players can play hockey. Empowering every kid to play - Giving kids the opportunity to access sport and play is essential for their growth and development, which is why Jumpstart funds a variety of different sports and activities all with the goal of giving all kids the chance to discover their passion.
Names are not provided to Division Convenors for tryouts, camps or sorts until players are paid in full. For Online Banking Payments - please ENSURE your account number within online banking is the phone number you REGISTERED with so that payments are properly allocated. Any OVERPAYMENTS received will not be reimbursed.
All volunteers (coaches, assistant coaches, managers, trainers, on-ice helpers, dressing room monitors, and executive) require volunteer screening annually. Note: In the event you do not wish for the OPS to run an EQUIFAX scan on you to confirm identity, you may be required to provide pieces of government approved identification as part of your application.
