Lovely Nails Spa

Absolutely hate this place with a passion. My younger sister went there and she asked for coffin nails with regular nail polish. CHARGED HER $60 for that which is not correct according to their pricing on their website. extremely disappointed they ripped her off so bad. The nails were bumpy and looks like i could’ve done them myself. She got taken advantage of for sure and they fell off within a week. I feel so bad for her and personally my experiences there have never been good at all. Poor service, not friendly, poor quality. Overall would never go back there!

I gave a 3 star because I was not happy with the service. They did not welcome me in and they rushed my nails. Within 3 days my shelac was coming off. In one week I could peel off the polish off my fingers. They are very expensive and unprofessional

I have been going to Lovely Nails on Strandherd for several years and I love it. It is immaculate, the staff are wonderful and their service is great. Since they have reopened in Phase 2 of the pandemic I have been there twice. They have signage up explaining their procedures... each client's temperature is taken when they come in, there is no waiting area anymore, no walk in either. They have reduced their staff to less than half to maintain physical distancing guidelines. They have installed plexiglass between the technicians and clients. Clients must wear masks and the technicians do as well

Very pleased more times than not. Get the dipped nails usually. Pedicure once. Both good. Friendly staff who offer tea or coffee. Asked if they thread eyebrows. Was told they did and later felt hot wax, which I didn't want, on my face- clearly a language/comprehension issue. Wasn't happy with the brows (took away my arch which took awhile to grow). Good for nails but for other services I'd reconsider.

I have been coming to lovely nails for 2 yrs! The owners always there to greet you with a smile ! Offers you coffee or tea! My manicurist is Nancy she does an amazing job never had l left unsatisfied she always takes her time and makes my nails sparkle! This group of beautiful ladies are exactly what you need when walking into the spa! Always full of smiles and energy! The spa is extremely clean and very well kept best place I’ve been to so far! Perfect name for the spa , lovely nails in Barrhaven done by lovely ladies!! Thank you again for a great hour in your spa see you again in 5-6 weeks

I love this place. Such friendly staff and every time I'm blown away by the quality of my manicure. They have the best selection of dip colours and the manicures last me 4 weeks, I only need to change them because they grow out. Pedicures are nice and relaxing too! I highly recommend this place.

Proceed at your own risk! While on a trip to Ottawa, I visited this nail salon to have an old shellac manicure removed + new regular manicure. I assumed the salon must be decent, with the steady stream of clients going in & out. With horror, I realized partway through that the salon cuts corners by completing omitting any sanitation procedures: Tools are not sterilized (nor even cleaned), towels/nail files are reused and technicians don't even wash their hands between customers. This puts you at risk of nail fungus, skin lesions, hepatitis or even worse! Additionally, the technician I saw completely
