We're no-till, carbon-sequestering, soil-regenerative farmers in the fertile Fraser Valley. We foster bio-diversity and use only 100% natural growing methods. Our intention at our 25-acre market garden is to grow clean food that nourishes our community throughout the year! We believe in regenerative agriculture, modelling good farming for others, and inspiring food security for our region.
All of our items are prepared with produce from our farm, bread from our on-site organic bakery and we make as many of our ingredients as possible in-house. We are currently offering to-go sandwiches, salads and hot soups Monday through Friday as well as pizzas baked to order in our wood-fired oven on Saturdays.

Services
We are a family-run farm. We've established perennial garden beds and greenhouses to grow nutritious food using sustainable methods all year round. We grow a wide selection of vegetables, herbs, fruits and legumes using only natural growing methods (100% no-spray and chemical-free). Our focus is to nurture biodiversity and natural ecosystems; we hand weed our beds and hand harvest all our produce.
In the Market you will also find Anita's Organic Mill offering certified organic grains, flours and baking ingredients. Our fresh artisan bread from The Market Bakery with organic ingredients has become a local favourite.
When you visit the Market, much of the produce from the farm will have been harvested the same morning you buy it; the bread is usually warm out of the oven and prepared fresh every day from the farm's produce and Anita's organic flours. If you want to literally see where you food is coming from, you are welcome to take a walk around the farm.

Five years ago I left high school to become a baker. At the time, there were two bakers at the Local Harvest who gave me a crash course on baking. This "course" was taken all in less than two months' time, after which I became the sole baker at the Local Harvest Market. I quickly realized that I would not be able to do the work of two to keep up with demand.
Our MISSION is to grow and produce quality food, educate the public on the importance of local food systems and promote the development of local agriculture and food production. Our VISION is to create a food-secure Chilliwack where every citizen has year-round access to affordable, nutritious food provided by cooperative, local, sustainable farms, home gardens and food processors.

Forget about the negative reviews you see, there are still some legit managers. I have tried so many managers and I got scammed until I met Mrs SHERRY MURPHY, she's 100% legit and reliable. I just made my 3rd withdrawal all by myself without any extra charges. This time I invested $2500 and profited $26,320. Email:Murphysherry303@gmail.com WhatsApp: + 13618573869 Don't hesitate.

This business is top notch. I have shopped here for over 5 years now, and have taken gardening courses Dan offers. Dan and his wife are incredibly hard workers, take good care of their staff, grow amazing produce, and are a lifeline to our community...especially when we have supply chain issues. Having their food available for my family brings me so much peace and confidence. Thank you!
To all the quality milk haters: the price was the same before the flood as during. if you don't want it, don't buy it! But please for goodness sake do not slander Dan and Helen for something you know nothing about

Local Harvest is my favourite place to shop for produce - some of the best vegetables I've ever eaten and I never leave without a blueberry scone, or pizza if it's Saturday. Also, Dan & Helen and their incredible family are some of the kindest people you'll ever meet.
To anyone who is complaining about pricing, let's all remember massive flooding JUST happened and all of our farms have taken a devastating blow to their livelihoods. All highways are closed, so any orders they had in the city now have to probably be canceled and refunded...please take a moment to realize how much they are losing

This store is incredible. When you purchase food from this store you support small local niche farms. Their vision says it all: Our VISION is to create a food-secure Chilliwack where every citizen has… year-round access to affordable, nutritious food provided by cooperative, local, sustainable farms, home gardens and food processors.

A few years back I did a gardening course at Local Harvest that Dan put on. It was such a great course, and really demonstrated his passion for local food and education of the public.
Since then I have shopped at Local Harvest and only have wonderful things to say about them. I love what they have stocked, and that itโs as local, fresh and healthy as it comes! My experience there is always good. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
Dan and Helen have done an amazing job at providing food for our community in a way that not only gives us healthy food, but also gives back to the earth.

Great local place for seasonal veggies and goods. The prices are reasonable as they grow most of the veggie them on site. If you haven't worked in the fields it is hard to understand the amount of labor and love that goes into things. Especially when large grocers make everything so cheap. Most of our veggies/meat/dairy is under price. Rather buy here and support them.
