Dr. Radovan Rudik was born in Slovakia and grew up in Mississauga ON. He completed a Bachelor of Medical Sciences with Honors degree at the University of Western Ontario. He then pursued his dental education at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. His most memorable experience was providing dental care to orphans in the Eastern European country of Moldova.

Your parents were most likely not dentists. Your elementary school teachers never taught you about teeth and how to take care of them. You are trying your best, but yet somehow problems still arise. This is where the Moose Lake Dental team comes in. We will listen to your main concerns, thoroughly find the problem and together we will find a solution to achieve your goals.
Your dental insurance is a bonus on top of your salary. It is negotiated by your employer and the dental insurance company. Just like cable/satelite TV, there are specific packages/bundles of dental treatments that are covered. Your employer picks the insurance bundle. These maximums have not changed much in the past 50 years to adjust to the rate of inflation.
Professional dental cleanings help remove built-up plaque that is not removable using conventional brushing and flossing. Often, dentists are also capable of identifying potential problems that patients are not yet able to see or feel. When you maintain regular preventative dental appointments, you can stave off decay and gum disease, as well as identify the beginnings of oral health problems before they become severe.

Fillings are a way to restore teeth damaged by decay back to its normal function and shape. When a dentist gives you a filling, he or she first removes the decayed tooth material, cleans the affected area, and then fills the cleaned out cavity with a filling material. Moose Lake Dental was overwhelmingly recommended to me so I tried it out. They are friendly enough but they are first and foremost a business. Several staff, including Dr. Rudik, were pushing unnecessary x-rays and examinations on me even after I said no I’m only here for a cleaning. Finally they let it go after saying no a few times. Reconsidering my next appointment in 6 months.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rudik for three years and have had lots of work done on my teeth. He has done a root canal, a crown, an extraction, and several fillings. His work is always professional and thorough. His office staff are always friendly and proficient in their roles. I highly recommend Moose Lake Dental for your dental care.

Today was my first visit at Moose Lake Dental for a cleaning. Choosing a new dentist is difficult. The reviews that I read before hand were all very positive and I must say that they were all correct. Excellent place! Very neat and clean. The dentist and staff are fantastic! He listens to patients requests and he makes sure the patient understands what's happening. He is the best dentist I've ever seen! 100/10! Keep up the excellent work!! Will definitely be recommending this place to many others!

Dr. Rudik is friendly, but he recommended SIX fillings all at once to "maximize my plan". A family member of mine is a retired dentist and said that Dr Rudik was wrong.
Because my family member is retired, I saw a new dentist in Guelph who said the same thing: I needed ZERO fillings, not six.
It's not about cost - it's about trust. And I no longer trust Dr Rudik's opinion after two dentists disagreed with his aggressive and unnecessary treatment plan.

Moose Lake Dental is by far the best dental office in the industry. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful both at the front desk and the hygienists. The atmosphere is extremely cozy and relaxing, making you feel like you're away at the cottage! Dr Rudik and his team take the time to listen and understand your needs and dental goals, while also helping to educate you on best practices and the WHY behind their recommendations. I don't fear going to the dentist like I used to, I actually look forward to it! Thank you everyone at Moose Lake Dental for being kind, knowledgeable and understanding

Amazing staff ! Me and my 3 children were able to all get in at the same time. While my daughter was getting some cavity’s filled which she was extremely nervous for I was amazed at how they handled her explained everything. What was the most fascinating was how quickly they worked as a team passing tools back and forth all while keeping my daughter calm . It was almost magical. An appointment I walk in thinking wasn’t going to be possible went very smoothly and tear free. I highly recommend the moose lake dental team to all my friends and family now !

I have recently started going here after a series of bad dental experiences over the last 20 years. The staff are professional, friendly and organized. Dr. Rudik is personable, professional and prioritizes the work you need in a way a person without dental training can understand. I strongly recommend them if you are looking for a good dentist. This is my second review, as I have now had some time to validate my initial one.

Excellent team - they will educate you about your oral health rather than shaming as some dentists do. Great environment and everyone is kind with a good sense of humour. Lovely facility as well. The variety of payment options are appreciated. I'm glad I've chosen Moose Lake to be my dental care team and would highly recommend them.

Dr. Rudik and his staff are very kind, incredibly informed, and super attentive to your needs: they will always work within your budget and ensure you get the best dental care possible. They seem genuinely committed to providing excellent dental care for all, and this is made clear in every interaction I've had with them (from broken tooth, to cavity, to routine cleaning etc!).
