A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.

Highly disappointed in this place. Was a client of a dentist who is now retired, my entire life. Had fillings done. One of the fillings was causing me pain. I went back 3 times. The first time the original dentist saw me, tried to fix it. Another patients x-ray was sitting in front of my face the entire time. (Hello, Breach of Confidentiality). However still had pain. Between the first and second visit I went to another dentist to get a second opinion. They told me it looked like a filling had fallen out. Went back the second time for the same problem, they lost my x-rays, so they had to redo those

I used to go here before Dr. Sylvester retired. Him and his team were always fantastic. I hadn't been in years before I moved back to Stratford, when it was rebranded as River Dental. When I went for a routine cleaning, they quoted me a huge sum of money and said I had nearly a dozen cavities to fill. I thought this was odd and I asked the technician for x-rays. Against my better judgement I asked them to do some fillings and I'd come back for another session later. My back left tooth is now in constant pain from the supposed filling- I was told that it would be sore for some time, but it has been

June 2021, . . . .went in for a repair of a chipped tooth. Came out with 2 of 4 recommended fillings. One was located incorrectly, even though I told her she had the wrong tooth. The second repair turned out to be a long distant antenna, able to receive painful radio waves from the International Space Station. I went in for a follow up and now the pain is unbearable and I don't sleep at night. In other words, be very careful as your experience could lead to long term pain. I am a patient of over 20 years,

All of the staff at River Dental are absolutely amazing! I truly can not say enough kind things about how wonderful everyone is! Whether it be for a routine cleaning, routine procedure, or an emergency, the dental team take the time to ensure you are taken care of right away! I had a dental emergency and was seen the same day I called, and Dr. Chaudhry was available after hours when I needed to call. Despite having anxiety about going to the dentist I am always made to feel so comfortable and well taken care of!

Been going here for many years! The last three times I’ve been here I haven’t been happy! I find they forget steps in the cleaning process. Ever since COVID began they skip most the steps and just scale your teeth, no polishing, no fluoride treatments etc. I’ve given them 3 chances and have expressed my concerns to them but there hasn’t been any change. My parents & I have finally decided to change offices and try somewhere that doesn’t leave our teeth feeling like nothing has been done to them!

I have had several cleanings with Hannah, and every time she's given me highest level of professionalism, kindness and so thorough. Amazing dental office! I started coming here at the beginning of the pandemic due to pain and have had many procedures there since. I had major anxiety with dentists due to past experiences but have nothing but great things to say about this place. They are quick, respectful, and just overall the best!

I had my very first cleaning and new patient exam done today at RiverDental by Allison the hygienist. I highly recommend “Alison”!!! She is absolutely gentle with her scaling, she is super friendly and definitely a sweetheart.
If anyone is ever looking forward to a cleaning at this dental office, Allison is the girl to go to :). She is the best!!!

The staff at River dental were very friendly, polite, helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to get an appointment in reasonable time (I work shift work, so I have a bit more flexibility and don’t require an evening or weekend appointment). Sherry the hygienist was great, she explained everything as she went, and Amit the Dentist was great too. Thanks to Tawnya for suggesting I go there. The office was very clean and professionally set up, and their Covid protocol set-up was very appropriately done. They are more then prepared to navigate everyone thru this crazy process and make sure your dental
