Services
Structural Specifications: Compliance of our designs with CSA, EIA or B.S. to ensure the highest quality and safety of our products. Reports: We provide detailed structural analyses, engineering reports and P. Eng stamped drawings for site plan preparations and construction permits. Both standard & custom fabrications are performed on premises, using high precision equipment and workmanship.
The continuing demand to increase wireless coverage in urban or developed areas resulted a new challenge of unsightly antenna support structures. GORD Telecom provides a variety of concealment solutions which include Monopoles and Towers. For shrouded structures we design our concealment utilizing RF transparent shrouding with strong UV stabilized paintable material.
GORD's towers are easily adjustable to wind applications; this includes all self-support and guyed towers as well as Monopols and even some flat roof mounts. In addition to supplying our standard structures, we have extensive experience in working with innovative companies and developing custom-design structures for their turbine models.
CWB Certification is obtained through meeting all the requirements of the Canadian Welding Bureau. Certification under the standard ensures that welding procedures covering all joints, processes and positions used in fabrication/erection process are current and approved by the CWB, and that weld quality and workmanship are up to the levels specified by the design or product standard.
The Canadian Standards Association (CSA) sets the criteria for designing steel structures above 15m/ 50' height, and applies to all classes of communications service including AM, CATV, FM/TV, VHF, Microwave, Cellular/PCS, licenced & unlicensed frequency bands etc. Consequently, telecom structures that are 50' or higher and intended for a Canadian location must be designed according to the CSA-S37/01 specifications.
