Deciding on flooring involves a choice of wood species, designs, colors, gloss, width and other factors.
For our suppliers and the flooring industry in general, Markham Flooring provides an efficient and reliable service for the distribution and marketing of their products. We are one of the few locations in the Greater Toronto Area where people can view large size samples of virtually every style and colour of hardwood flooring from all major suppliers.
Hardwood is carefully dried, retaining just enough moisture for the hardwood to properly acclimatize to the relative humidity in your home. The flooring continues to exchange moisture with the air, shrinking and expanding in response to changes in relative humidity. Solid hardwood's natural response to extremely dry air is to lose moisture and shrink a bit.

We have had a wonderful experience working with Markham Flooring. More importantly Eric Ratynski was great. He was very knowledgeable and efficient in advising us on replacing the floor of our condo. He paid 2 visits to the condo in downtown Toronto prior to the work in order to give a quote and the second time to check for mould. He answered my many emails and phone calls with rapid responses. There was no change to the quote which was very reasonable.The contractor who carried out the work did a very neat and meticulous job as the planks had to fit just right on 2 sides of the room. We had a wonderful experience with Markham Flooring. We walked into the store knowing limited about hardwood floors, and left with knowledge, shared experiences and confidence in our selection. Richard welcomed us into the showroom, showed us a variety of hardwood brands and color, and explained the textures, width and types.
He recommended the Mirage hardwood and we felt in love at first sight. After the visit, we emailed Richard back and forth to finalize a quote. In the end, we went back to the store for a second time to view the samples and came away with an order of the Mirage Maple Rio Cashmere

Extremely helpful. We calculated the wrong amount of flooring when we purchased through someone else and Markham Flooring went out of their way to get us the amount of extra boxes we needed even though our main purchase wasn’t through them. Best quality hands down! Very fast and efficient removal and install. The design center has lots of options to choose from and the sales team is there to make sure you get the perfect fit. The installers were very friendly and made sure that the quality of the product came out perfectly. I would definitely recommend Markham flooring and will be going back in the future.
