An excellent accommodation that is clean, quiet, affordable, close to the town of Parrsboro, and comes with a free delicious breakfast in the morning. The Queen bedroom includes a table and two chairs, a microwave, a mini fridge, a closet, and a seating area outside. Lots of outlets and USB ports available around the bed for charging your electronics. The wifi can be a bit spotty if you’re not in the guest check in area, otherwise it is the best inn that I have stayed in Nova Scotia so far. Would highly recommend for a couple’s or friend’s getaway.

We stayed here and I recommend it. Lauren was so helpful with sightseeing recommendations and various other things. Nearby Cape Chignecto Provincial Park is fantastic and the Sunshine Inn was a great launchpad for us.

Comfy accommodations, handmade breakfast. Thank you! Sincerely appreciated the accommodations and care from the proprietors, who manage the place themselves, including making delicious breakfast in the morning. The name of the place calories their disposition. Also, good location just outside a quaint town and apx 45 minutes from Cape Chignecto Provincial Park. Thank you!

Had a fantastic night's sleep in a very comfy and clean room. Relaxed customer service. A hot home cooked breakfast was included and they were able to accommodate gluten free requirents. I had the most delicious gf French toast with bacon, homemade jam and maple syrup. Will be back!

Lovely place to stay. Clean, well kept. Walking trail to the lake. Staff very easy to deal with. Breakfast has many choices, not premade. Delicious. Will definitely be returning. And yes there is a vast number of licence plates from all over the world.

You ever stay somewhere and just want to tell everyone how wonderful it was? That applies to The Sunshine Inn. We brought our two school-age kids to stay 4 nights in a two-bedroom cottage
The cottage was well-appointed with a kitchenette, pots, pans, dishes, etc. It was impeccably clean. While we booked the cottage for its extra bedroom, it was also fully accessible. The beds were very comfortable and didn't creak which, honestly, is not common for cottages we've rented around NS. There was also a barbeque we could use. The cottage had basic satellite channels, and the wifi was sufficient for

Our first time to Parrsboro and my wife booked at The Sunshine Inn after reading reviews and we were not disappointed. The owners were friendly, professional, and very gracious. The rooms were clean, neat and tidy and all the usual amenities that are expected for a rural Motel.
They were also very accommodating when it came to my diet as I cannot have eggs, gluten, wheat, dairy or corn products. Their dinning area was nice and you can tell by looking around the property, it is well maintained and cared for out of love.
I even got the chance to teach my 10 year old daughter how to play chess on

"WOW" What a great place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet on over 50 plus acres with a lake. The rooms are exceptionally clean and modern and did I mention the great prices. Well worth the drive!
