The Canadian Centre for Addictions is a residential treatment facility specializing in helping those who are addicted to alcohol and other drugs learn the skills required to successfully live an alcohol and drug free lifestyle.

I came in with broken soul, full of self-pity, not liking who I was, full of fear and low self-esteem. During my stay, I learned so many valuable lifelong lessons. The counsellors challenged me to feel again. To think and understand those feeling. To express my feeling and thoughts. They have taught me the strategies and tools that I must apply to my new life going forward.
Freedom from addiction requires a continued connection to recovery. Our aftercare is accessible for all program graduates for life, and is available anywhere in North America. CCFA Aftercare is an important tool that helps you maintain your new healthy life. Knowing that someone understands is important.

The first thing I must write about is the entire staff at CCFA. Each and every single staff member had a positive impact on my recovery during my time at CCFA. The new and tremendously improved programming offers ALL the tools and teaches every client not only how to remain sober/clean, but also have a great life. I am very grateful for the… experience and everything I have learned about myself, and because of CCFA I can proudly say that I love and accept who I am today. Love you ALL.

This has been a game changer experience for me, staff were so supportive and always there in time of need! Food is amazing and the house keepers deserve a raise! And I wish there was a elevator placed in since there’s so much stairs! It be awesome to see maybe safe beds in place as some people wait to enter for over coming withdrawals or relapse prevention. Instead of coming in withdrawing and having to start the program. This would really be em the centre.

CCFA has absolutely saved my life! Although not quite as physically luxurious as advertised, the staff are the best in the world! What is luxury anyway? It’s rehab! The rooms are more than adequate, the food is amazing, as are the chefs! Focusing on the building is one more way to not focus on one’s self and their recovery. I got far more from CCFA… than I could have ever hoped for. I got myself and my life back. Thank you to all the amazing staff and to my fellow residents at CCFA. I am currently being discharged form CCFA from the 45 day program. Upon arrival to the center I felt nothing but love and support. The faculty has been supportive and helpful whenever I needed guidance. I know I would never have been able to leave feeling I was ready for the outside world without all of them and the outstanding programming. I will miss everyone and am grateful for this experience. I am ready for my renewed life.

CCFA has been an absolutely life changing and amazing experience. Every member of staff is so caring, understanding and help in any way they possibly can. Maria in the office was a delight right from the beginning with helping me get comfortable and start every day with a smile and a laugh. Miranda helped me get settled when i first got here and continued to give me words of advice and inspired me. What an overwhelmingly positive experience! With the exception of a few minor speed bumps (as can be expected in recovery), my 30 day stay here was nothing short of magical. I must admit that I came into this house a skeptical, terrified, and broken man. I was hopeless, and I was lost in my addiction.

This was my third time in treatment and it will be my last. My experience here I must say was exceptional - the staff here were amazing, very supportive and easy to talk to. The two other treatment centres I stayed in were very clinical and non supportive of my individual needs. There were more counselling sessions here, more one on one time. The days are very full with lots of group sessions. Food is incredible. I'm leaving with a strong foundation and a new beginning. Waveney and Maria are the best, I'm definitely gonna miss Kim, and Matt you rock. I will deeply miss you all. Thank you very much

This is a fantastic treatment center well structured and well run by the well educated and trained staff. all clients are well mannered and welcoming . i would highly recommend this facility to you or your loved one as it saved my life and gave me the tools to lead a healthy and productive life in sobriety.

I guess an uneducated clown answered the phone today when I called. I dont believe the reviews written here at all- because the clown I spoke to wanted cash upfront- I have insurance. In fact, in hind sight, I think maybe one of the clients answered the phone and was messing around. It's time for someone to investigate this place. I'll start on Dec 26.

I came to the CCFA 3 years ago with my life in shambles. I was addicted to multiple substances and had hit rock bottom. They welcomed me with open arms and helped me rebuild my life with positive reinforcement which helped me rebuild my confidence, reinvent and ultimately learn to love myself again. This place saved my life. Without it I wouldn’t have been able to beat my addiction. Went for 30 days and extended for 45 and it was the best decision of my life. The councillors are amazing and the facility is great. If anyone is lost and feels like there’s no hope left in their life please, give this place a call. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose.

The CCFA gave me my life back, I struggled for 20 years with my drug and alcohol addiction and never truly believed I was an addict. I lived 20 years in denial and was finally able to "break the chains" with the tremendous care and support from the staff, primary counsellors and fellow recovering addicts. I would highly recommend the CCFA to anyone in need of help with addictions of any sort. It was the best decision I ever made and I wish I made it earlier.

This rehab saved my friend's life. After watching my friend's alcohol use get worse and worse, we really didn't know if he could ever put his life back together. I tried so hard to help him but sadly I couldn't seem to make him want to change. Together, with family and some of our friends we had Canadian Centre do an intervention and a rehab… program. It's almost been 2 years now and I just spent this weekend with him in the preparations for the opening of his new restaurant . I can't believe how much has changed! we talked a lot about it this weekend. Very emotional, So, So happy for him

We were working to get a very important friend some badly needed help. Seth and Justin worked with us. Both were great at what they were doing. Seth came and conducted an intervention with us, and was perfect for the implementation. He is intelligent and kind. He is able to communicate in a manner that helps the patient understand the process and make it as comfortable as possible. Justin was also very helpful in explaining and implementing the admissions process. It was very comforting on our end to be treated with respect and compassion, and what I believe is true caring.
