Reside is a family business that originally started in Edmonton in 1978. Known formerly as Leather Elite, Reside was established in 2013 by the Lundgren family after they discovered what was missing in the Edmonton market: a unique collection of furniture and home decor made with a wide selection of reclaimed and sustainable materials such as solid wood, wrought iron and other unique, attractive and lasting materials.
We decided a long time ago (more than 30 years, in fact) that we would always put our customers first. This philosophy has served us well, and we now have second and third generations of families purchasing from us. Those are relationships we're extremely proud of.

Many products are guaranteed under manufacturer warranty for an extended period of time; you can ask a sales associate for further details on a particular product.

I recently bought a new condo and was looking for new living room furniture. Debbie greeted us (my niece and I) and let us browse while answering any questions we had. Debbie has a very approachable personality and is so wonderful to work with, (as is everyone I've worked with at Reside.) I had to take measurements and went back to purchase a few days later. This is a family business with personal service of the highest standard. They don’t simply ‘sell’, they problem-solve. They helped me identify what I needed, and then provided me with a selection of choices far beyond their website’s collection.
I was stunned that the furniture was made of solid hardwood (no veneers and no IKEA style press-board) given the prices were very reasonable. In my case, the furniture was hand-manufactured in Canada using Canadian hardwood and the craftsmanship was superb (We Canadians do not give ourselves the credit we deserve for our world-beating furniture

We purchased a Palliser Sutton Swivel chair from Reside Furnishings and we love it! The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their showroom is full of great furniture, and especially have a lot of really nice fabric and leather sofas and sectionals. This swivel chair was exactly what we were looking for. Have been to the store twice. To Look to make a deal on a couple palliser sofas and the manager can’t be bothered to get out of what must be a comfy chair for either visit, just sits in his office. And then barks the price is on the tag to his employees that relay the message to me. The next time I visit this store may be when I see the banner “Store closing” terrible service!

Just purchased a lovely and rustic console for my covered patio. They welcomed me into their store, helped me out immediately and then left me alone to walk around and browse. Asked if I needed help shortly after and I was able to purchase what I saw on their website smoothly. Their website is very up to date with what is available in the store which was very helpful, no time wasted on travelling to the store to see if it was actually on stock. We were looking to furnish a new home we purchased and because I had previously bought a great sectional from Leather Elite (previous name), we went back to their location on Mayfield road. I used to think Leather Elite had a great selection, Reside has definitely taken it up a couple of notches. The selection at the west end location was excellent, then we learned of a South Common location with even more styles and colours. Shopping at Reside never once pressured us on any piece, the sales people answered all our questions and were professional to deal with. I bet we spent 6-8 hours over 3 days

A few weeks ago we bought our Louis Seth daybed from reside and we are so incredibly happy with it. From getting to customize fabrics to so many custom selections to suit the space. We also found the prices reasonable especially for the quality. Our daybed came in and as they were unpacking to show us they felt one of the arm rests bolts was loose… and wanted to inspect this before we took it home. They figured out the issue which was just a loose bolt from shipping tightened it secured it even further by adding another screw and bolt and had it packed right back up for us to take. They

We just received our couch from Reside and we love it. The whole experience was fantastic! Natalie was super helpful in picking our couch colour and cushions as I was super indecisive. Delivery gave me a small window of when they were coming instead of having to wait around all day for it. The delivery guys were very quick and let after everything was set up perfectly. Highly recommend!

The staff were so patient with my indecisiveness, so awesome at pulling suggestions and working with our… style. They definitely have some of the best selection in the city. We bought a white leather sofa and love seat from Leather Elite before they changed their name to Reside. The same people still run it. This was an expensive set and the foam flattened out within a a couple weeks with little use. If you laid your arm down there would be a permanent dip left from your elbow, which did not disappear. They attempted to repair the sagging backs by putting more foam in, but this made it worse. The foam created bulges across the top of the cushion backs. The leather sagged on the backs of the couches because it was not re-attached properly. We showed them pictures of

I had a fantastic experience with Reside, and I've never even been to the showroom! I just moved from Toronto to Edmonton and preordered a couple of pieces through their website. The representative I dealt with via email was super helpful, answered all my questions, and assured me they would be happy to store the furniture for me for up to 3 months at no extra charge. When I arrived at my new home and was ready to have it delivered, I was thoroughly impressed with the prompt service.And the furniture itself is beautiful, even nicer than I expected. I found a bedroom set online from a store in Calgary (where I live) that I loved!!!!! But was very expensive - then my friend looked into it and saw the exact same thing at Reside for a fraction of the price! Once I contacted them, the service was absolutely wonderful, they were willing to hold it for me until I could make it Edmonton to look at… it! It was cheaper for me to buy it in Edmonton and have it delivered to my home in Calgary, then it was for me to buy from my own city! After purchasing, they were so helpful, Kevin in particular, helped me with the whole process and was so wonderful

Excellent experience. Bought a kitchen table and chairs from Reside. Low pressure sales staff spent almost an hour helping us navigate the showroom and find the right pieces for our space. Great delivery staff. When one of pieces was slightly damaged salesperson went out of his way to correct the problem. Overall prices are only slightly higher than big box chains but quality and service worth the price. Also nice to deal with smaller local family run business. Highly recommend!
