Ian is a former Member/Adjudicator with the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal (now called the Landlord and Tenant Board), and has adjudicated thousands of cases involving disputes between landlords and tenants. In addition, Ian has represented hundreds of property management companies and individual rental property owners as an advocate for landlords before the Landlord and Tenant Board.
Ian has extensive knowledge of landlord and tenant law, the regulations and rules to be applied, and the intricacies involved in the process. Ian is also licensed by The Law Society of Upper Canada, holding a P1 License, allowing him to provide legal services within the permitted scope of practice of a licensed Paralegal.
