Our studio offers a bright, spacious, comfortable and clean environment for your next tattoo experience. We are conviniently located on Highway 97 between Kelowna and Vernon and have lots of free parking available around the studio. As a husband-wife tattooer team, we work together on most tattoo projects to some capacity.
The combination of our diverse international tattoo experience also allows us to pull multiple perspectives into each project. We find this to be very valuable to our process, especially when offering another opinion on the size and placement of a tattoo. We specialize in developing custom tattoo designs in a variety of styles that are suited to our client's tastes, ideas and body.

Services
Cody Philpott specializes in traditional Japanese tattoo design (Irezumi). Cody lived and worked in Kyoto, Japan from 2009-2011, where he learned about Japanese tattooing, language and culture from some true masters of the craft. He returned to British Columbia in 2011 to create North Shore Ink (NSI Tattoo), a private tattoo studio in North Vancouver.
Fabiana was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and has always had an interest in art. In 2011, Fabiana took traditional Japanese painting lessons with Ito Kaoru, a well known Japanese painter, popular amongst the tattoo community in Sao Paulo. Inspired by some of her classmates, Fabiana began a tattoo apprenticeship at the renowned Black Ball Tattoo Studio in Sao Paulo.
Carefully remove the bandage and wash your tattoo with warm water and a mild soap and pat it dry with clean towel or paper towel. Do this twice a day, for a week. Showering to wash your tattoo is good, but take caution in over-washing. DO NOT soak or submerge your healing tattoo in water (ie: pools, baths, lakes).

Worked with Fabiana. She is very professional, talented, creative and detail oriented. The process was very smooth and she had numerous creative ideas that we implemented during the the appointment resulting in an amazing finished tattoo. Better than the original drawing!

Been having a back piece with a lot of meaning behind it worked on by Cody, he's done so much to make this piece really come to life. Leaving full creative freedom to him and having all the trust in his ability has led to such an amazing piece of work. Cody and Fabiana both work so hard and well together to make sure they give their clients the best possible tattoos. Overall just awesome people to get to know aswell. There is no other artists that I'd trust to put permanent art on me. Highly recommend NSI tattoo and suggest giving them creative freedom and trust. You'll never leave unhappy.

Amazing place to get a tattoo! I got my first one here and Fabi was so accommodating and kind. We had lots of interesting conversations and she made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. The tattoo looks amazing as well, with crisp smooth lines and everything fit together very well. You can tell she is very experienced and cares a lot about her clients!

Their rates are fair and both artists are incredibly talented. It is a really nice and welcoming atmosphere at their studio, both of them are really polite and open for any concerns or questions you have. From the beginning to the end when it comes to after care and healing procedures, they are super professional and know their stuff!

Amazing!!!!! Just returned home after a family weekend of pansy tattoos in memory of a family member. 12 tattoos in all. Each one absolutely beautiful. Cody and Fabiana are outstanding artist. They make you so comfortable with their knowledge of placement, color, shading, size. Impeccable. The shop is so so clean and bright. It was just a pleasure. Love my tattoo. Thanks Cody. My daughter and I got matching tattoos from Cody at NSI Tattoo in Lake Country today. I can't say enough good things about what a positive experience this was! Cody was very professional yet chill and made me feel so comfortable. This was a 60th birthday present for me and he really made it feel special! I'm already planning to go back! My experience from start to finish was great. Cody's expertise easily shows by how he: understands your vision, is honest about what will and won't work in a tattoo, creates a unique piece that captures what you want all while making a solid, beautiful piece that works, and by how much research he does of the things you want incorporated into your tattoo. It was clear in his diligence and the outcome of my tattoo that he truly cared about giving me a piece I'd love. Can't wait to come back for more!
