At our funeral home, we understand the importance of family. We believe in treating your family as we would our own. We stand behind our reputation and will continue to serve our community with the values instilled by our funeral directors. Since 1998 Paragon Funeral & Cremation Services has been offering economical and affordable options to families, while maintaining honour and dignity in their funeral services.
Miles is the owner and general manager of Paragon Funeral and Cremation Services. He hails from Rosetown, Saskatchewan and that is also where he completed his funeral director apprenticeship. In 1998, he moved west to join the staff at Chapel of Memories, in Port Alberni, BC and there he met his wife, Louise.
We understand that there are many questions that arise when a death occurs. Our hours of operation are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays), but we are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to answer questions you may have and provide direction. Please call us directly at the funeral home if you require immediate assistance.

We lost our father Karl on January 2, 2022 we could not have used a better funeral home. Compassionate Transport Services treated dad like he was alive very professional and caring. Donald was superb to walk with us through the journey. I was also present when dad got cremated. Again so courteous and professional team. Truly caring people.

Miles, Lawrence, and the entire team at Paragon were extremely helpful and considerate during a very difficult time for us. Planning a funeral was something I’ve never done and I was overwhelmed, but they were so patient and helpful and made the entire process seamless while answering every email, text, and phone call we had right away.
They were professional but at the same time made you feel right at home and not uncomfortable.
I couldn’t have been happier with their service, definitely recommend Paragon for anyone who wants a personal, friendly, and helpful experience.
