I live in Whitby but regularly visit our son and his family in Stratford. When there I would visit this shoe store and, over time, purchased 3 pairs of Glerup slippers, a pair of Blundstone boots and another pair of shoes for my son. Additionally I bought some diabetic socks. Two pairs of these socks developed holes after a couple of wearings. I tossed one pair and
returned the other which they refused to accept. I have now found another store to buy my footwear necessities. Very disappointed but a lesson has been learned.

Going in a longer trip, I did buy a pair of sandals at the Goderich’s store, as I forgot to pack any. Next day, in other city, I realized that they were different in colour. Called the company, and they told me that was a “ final sale” I explained that I never tried or was show both shoes at the time of purchase and their response was the salesperson was a new employee with no experience. I wasn’t looking for a refund, but I got offended by the way they treated me at the store and the nonsense excuses at the phone .
