Services
You may not have heard of us, but we've been in the computer repair and sales business a long time. Northern Protocol Inc. was incorporated in 2000. What started out as a dream by an extraordinarily gifted computer geek living in poverty exploded into the Barrie area's leading computer repair depot that would spearhead change in the industry by an unprecedented "we fix it or it's free " guarantee.
When your computers stop working, you're losing money by the minute. This is not something any Alliston business wants to do. We understand that. Since 2000 we've been keeping businesses up and running with our effective and efficient computer repair and services. When your computers are down, you're down.
Laptop repair is a delicate operation and requires a lot of experience to pay careful attention to detail. It's so easy to break a little clip or over-tighten a screw and cause expensive damage. We know, we've seen the results of cheap laptop repair, time and time again. We've repaired more laptops than anyone else in the County.
It's really hard to find good Mac repair in Alliston. Until now you had to drive all the way to Barrie. That has changed. We're very pleased to offer you expert, reliable and cost-effective Mac repair right in downtown Alliston. Whatever type of MacBook or iMac you have we can fix it. In fact we can get Mac parts that most places can't, especially obsolete parts.
There was a time, not so long ago, when you had to either drag your computer in for repair or have one of our technicians come to see you. The reality was that internet communication wasn't fast or reliable enough to do it any other way. Thankfully times have changed and in most places that's no longer the case.

Based on previous reviews, I was under the impression that using this service would be quick and efficient, but it was not the case. I took my computer in on a Tuesday and was told it would be next on the "bench" for review the following day and that I would be contacted in 24-48 hours for follow up. I waited until Friday of the same week before I personally called to be told it had been sent to another site and that the diagnostic tests that had been run and the issue was determined and was asked at that point if I wanted to go ahead. Fast forward to Thursday of the following week and that is
