Dr. Kennedy graduated from the University of Toronto in 2004. Upon moving back to BC, where he had grown up, he began working as an associate in the practice of his father, Dr. E. Bruce Kennedy, in Vancouver. Though he has his hands full both at the office and at home, he remains involved in the local community, helping out with set-up at the Village Church and serving on the White Rock Christian Academy Board of Directors.
She began working for Dr. Bruce Kennedy in 1992 as his main Certified Dental Assistant and was privileged to be part of an amazing team for 17 years!

Tooth decay and other dental problems are less prevalent than ever before, thanks to improved awareness of proper home care, water fluoridation and effective preventative treatments. However, problems still do occur that require treatment. Thankfully, technology and methods are constantly improving, offering more effective, less invasive methods to keep your smile healthy.
Also known as composite fillings, white fillings are a plastic material designed to build up and match the colour of your teeth. They can restore a decayed tooth or repair a defect. Although they are often used on the front teeth where a natural appearance is important, they may also be used on a back tooth when the restoration is small or may be visible.
When a patient loses many or all of their teeth, dentures allow the patient to chew properly and speak normally. Dentures also support a natural-looking smile and facial structure, preventing the sunken lower facial features that can result from loss of teeth and gum tissue. Complete dentures replace all of the teeth in an arch - the upper (maxillary) arch and/or the lower (mandibular) arch.

I had a very positive first experience with a good lot of Staff including the receptionists. Dr. Nathan Kennedy and his assistant (sorry don't remember her name) were very professional and eased my concerns with their friendly demeanor and knowledge. They did a thorough inspection of my teeth along with x-rays. Dr. Kennedy made a few recommendations that are needed but wasn't pushy about it. The hygienist (sorry don't remember her name either) was gentle and friendly. I would definitely recommend them to others especially if you are a nervous willy like me.

I had to come and give this place a 5 star review. I am not even a patient here yet I will tell you why they deserve a great review. I recently got a crown put in from my regular dentist but last week noticed some discomfort. When I called I was dismissed quickly saying they can see me in a week. Fast forward to this long weekend (also my birthday) I have been in soooo much pain for the past 48hrs. It was spreading through out my face, I called the emergancy dentist from my usual clinic. Went here a couple of years ago and still remember the below-standard service I received. I may not be a dentist myself but to be so disrespected as a common "layperson" by their arrogant staff was beyond insupportable. Somebody asked me for a recommendation on a facebook group for a dentist and I just remembered this experience and told them /not/ to come here. Remember to treat people with kindness, respect, and with mutual intelligence. Just because you wear a white coat does not give you the right to disrespect your clients. The dentist assistant was phenomenal, however.

Spent just about 3 hours in the chair today getting my front teeth prepared for crowns. There are better ways to spend a Saturday - that being said I never once felt pain or discomfort. The staff at reception are welcoming - the technician was so professional my temporary bridge looks awesome! Every dentist that has worked on my mouth has been professional and do exemplarily work. I highly recommend this dental group for any of your dental needs.

My experience with Smile Solutions Dental has been very positive. On an operational level their facility is top notch and state of the art. Their staff are very friendly, informative, well trained and professional. I just switched dentists so it would be closer to my home and I believe I chose the right office.
