MCT uses high quality, sterile equipment, and jewelry with the largest selection in the area (now including kid's options!). Health-board inspected and up to date with all health and safety regulations. Our Piercers are so fast and efficient, that we have ALL the moms & dads bringing their little ones in for ear piercings!

Lorena has been involved in the tattoo industry for over 10 years operating Motor City Tattoo in Oshawa, Ontario and has been an accomplished permanent make up artist for 8 years. She has traveled all over the world working with several masters to find the best and most effective techniques. She also has worked one on one with award-winning body tattoo artists to learn how to use tattooing equipment efficiently including proper needle choices.
For all those who don't know me my name is Justin Castaldo. I also go by Ginger, Ging, NoSoul, Juicestain, Justina, and many more. So in a nut shell you can just give me a nick name and I'm sure I'll embrace it. I have graduated from Durham College twice and I have 2 Diplomas. One is in Accounting and the other is Entrepreneurship and Small Business.

I have been going to Motor city tattoos for years now. Each location they have had has been well maintained with a welcoming environment. Kait pierced my conch today and it was such a great experience! She is friendly, professional, gentle, and fast. Just a little pinch and no pain at all following the appointment. The shop is really clean and open with good music. Their COVID screening was thorough, and paperwork was easy to complete. I'm definitely coming back for a tattoo! Thanks to your awesome staff!

If you looking for a good tattoo that you have in mind please except this place to translate into an art, i would suggest you stay away. Absolutely no creative from the artist i dealt with, all about money gauging. I went in for a tattoo view i saw art that's my 5 yr son could draw better. Stay away!!

So far, so good. Had my consult wit my tattooist (if that's a word) on Nov 10. I know him as he already did work for my daughter. So it's 3 of us booked with him for the month of Dec. He's amazing.. His name is Nolan. I didn't rate it a 5 as yet as my very first tat is happening in Dec. An epic birthday, an epic moment with my besties!

This is my second time going to Motor City and my third time getting a piercing by Kyle. He did two side by side in my right helix/cartilage 4 years ago and he re-pierced my nose today (I took it out ~10 years ago). He’s so calm, gentle, quick, and professional while talking you through the piercing. Very happy with his work and Motor City, and would definitely return in the future; highly recommend!

I was recommended Motor City Tattoos by my therapist (what a millennial thing to say) and was not disappointed. I got my first tattoo here and was prepared for what was going to happen. Justin was amazing, he communicated the possible issues with my intended tattoo design and made sure it would look great. The end result was amazing and I can only give my highest praise. This tattoo means a lot to me as it's a soundwave of my daughters laugh and Justin did it more than justice. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

We walked in on a Friday afternoon to get my 7.5 month old's ears pierced. Kyle and Justin did an amazing job! They were so patient and the procedure was so quick I couldn't believe it. Then again, they've been doing this for years. They were also very accommodating in booking my husband's tattoo appointment, even checking if any artists were available that day. Highly recommend Motor City Tattoos!

I don't know if they sterilized their equipment properly or not, but I ended up contracting a very serious case of MRSA from my first piercing. I had my belly button pierced and a few weeks later I started developing boils all over my body, which I later found out was a serious staph infection. Took me about six months to fully get rid of it. Make sure the piercers are using BRAND NEW needles and that they sterilize everything properly, including clamps.

Got my nose pierced here, and had to eventually take it out after 6 weeks because it was infected. I knew it wasnt my fault because I was taking wonderful care of it. I went to another piercing shop and they informed me that Motor City Tattoos completely used the wrong type of jewelry, way too big for my nose, and did the entire thing unproper. Will never go back as this was an impulse decision to get it pierced and I'm so disappointed

WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. Quite possibly the worse business in Oshawa. Don't go here. RUN~save your money for a place that is concerned about their customers, not just the almighty dollar. And don't fall for the "touch-ups are free" spiel. You have to book an appt and leave $40. Poor business run by wanna be artists. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
