At Rainbow Draperies, we have been educating ourselves about designing and manufacturing the highest quality custom draperies, valances, roman shades, and bedding for over 50 years. We custom make everything here in our 6000 square foot studio/workroom and have provided the highest quality drapery to professional designers, decorators, and builders throughout Western Canada.
When completing a beautifully decorated space, custom drapery is often the last element and can take a room from nice to WOW! It is the jewelry to the outfit, the final layer, when drapery is done custom, it becomes the statement piece to the whole room! Whether it is decorative side panels, workable blackout drapes or light filtering sheers, you can get the color, pleat and lining you desire, all to suit your own personal style.
Carefully selected designer fabrics that hang beautifully and are made specifically for drapery. Offering 6 popular pleats including grommets, signature, S pleat, U pleat, Two Fold Flat pleat and Reverse Pleat in 2 lengths 90" & 102". This is the simplest choice ever for custom drapery that you can count on.
We understand how important the right tools are as a design consultant. To make sure you have everything you need, we have included a range of trade tools for you to use. We will be posting all upcoming courses and events on our calendar so you will be able to look at a glance when the next drapery or bedding course is or when a future product presentation will be.
Make a simple drawing of the window (See drawing) and decide what type of rod will be used. Measure from the bottom of the ring to the floor and take off for clearance from floor, to select finished length for all styles of drapes except Grommet Drapes. For Grommet Drapes you will measure from the top of the rod to the floor and take off " for clearance from floor and add 1 " as the grommet drapes hang above the rod.
