Exterior window and door trim are placed on the top horizontal edge of and two vertical sides of the opening. The original and still valid purpose is to cover the gap between the frame and wall. Eventually, a more decorative approach came about. Our exterior window trim mouldings are comprised of an EPS core which is then finished with an exclusive cement coating.
Interior plaster cornice mouldings are a defining and grand feature in an interior space. They are applied at the very top of walls which is where it's endearing name "crown moulding" was derived. Traditionally, coffered ceilings are constructed using multiple components. Interior light coves are a unique and special addition inside a room. They're essentially a crown/cornice moulding that has a notched section in the rear to accommodate a lighting system, usually LED strip lighting. They provide indirect lighting which bounces off the wall and upwards towards the ceiling.

We are currently living in Germany and building a house in Toronto. We have been talking with Mouldex regarding our home and they have been very helpful in getting our details sorted even with the time difference. We are sometimes having to communicate with Davide when it's early in the morning for him but he has accommodated each time. So far, we have had a 3D rendering done and will be using them to supply our mouldings. I will update my review once we receive our order.
