An osteopathic treatment involves a complete understanding of your health history as well as an assessment of your posture, alignment, and present state of health. We want to know all about you so we can understand how you got to where you are and be able to help you the most. The new patient consultation starts with a detailed health history, which is the first step in understanding the problem, its' origin, and context in your life.
Calls are answered 7:30am to 8:00pm Monday - Friday, and 9:00am to 5:00pm Saturday. At other times please leave a message and your call will be returned at the start of the next business day. We are not able to accommodate walk-in clients, but will do our best to schedule you as soon as possible, especially in an urgent case.
You don't need to wear anything special for the treatment, in fact, many people come right from the office! But if possible, wear loose comfortable clothing, and if you can, avoid tight yoga/gym style garments. During the treatment we will do our best to keep you as comfortable as possible, and you will not need to move into uncomfortable positions.

I couldn't wait for the clinic to reopen and see Michael Kolesa for a recent knee injury. After his treatment, and like my previous treatments with him, I felt so much better! Michael's COVID protocol was amazing. I felt so safe and protected. In fact, I had to visit a hospital recently and I found Michael's protocols to be considerably more thorough. The office is immaculate, he takes care of every detail. And as always, Michael's treatment, manner and overall care and concern was exceptional.

My experience at Osteopathy In Toronto, specifically with Michael Kolesa was absolutely incredible! He is a total professional, clearly informed, skilled and empathic. Could not recommend Michael enough! I left feeling more aligned and relieved of pain. So comforting knowing this level of pain relief is possible.

I really can't say enough about my experience at Osteopathy in Toronto, with Michael Kolesa. Besides his professionalism and kindness, my severe back pain significantly improved as well as other parts of my body I didn't even realize were sore. Michael also took the time to make sure I was ok and literally walked me to the elevator. In addition, the office is bright, full of beautiful plants and crystals and has a healing energy. Thank you so much.

This is my experience:
Thanksgiving day a few years back I ended up in the emergency room - upon awaking that morning, my back had seized up and I was in so much pain I passed out and hit the floor. When I came to, I simply could not get off the floor. An ambulance ride later, I was in the hospital getting shot up with pain killers. I left the hospital in a state where I couldn't even lean over to tie my shoes - the pain was excruciating. That week I made an appointment with Mr. Kolesa at the Metliss Clinic.
I arrived at his clinic wincing with every step. It hurt to breath. Anyone who has had
