Our professional and personable staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding treatments, procedures, dental fees or about any of the up-to-date technology that we offer in our office. All of our staff share an ongoing commitment to education and professional development. We offer a wide range of services and our fees are based on the Nova Scotia Fee Guide.
Services
Teeth whitening is a process that helps to lighten the colour of teeth. While a number of whitening methods are available today, our dentists favour the "custom tray method" of whitening. This approach involves the once a day (or night) wearing of thin, pliable, custom fit "shells" that hold a small amount of whitening gel.
Veneers are thin ceramic restorations that are used to esthetically (and sometimes functionally) improve teeth. Veneers are usually used with front teeth that cannot be predictably helped with other approaches. The dentists at Halifax Dental Group have all studied advanced veneer techniques and are happy to discuss options with you.
Dentures are removable false teeth. They can be used to replace one or more missing teeth. Complete dentures, which are used to replace all of the teeth in an arch, are usually made out of a very strong acrylic material. Partial dentures, which are used to replace a smaller number of teeth, can be made out of a acrylic or acrylic with a metal framework.
A filling is a dental restoration that can be used to correct a small to medium sized defect in a tooth. Such defects may include cavities, broken or worn teeth, or broken fillings. Fillings can be made of a variety of materials. Your dentist will review with you the material options best suited for your situation.
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root. One or more implants can be used to support a variety of different types of dental restorations. These include: crowns, bridges, partial dentures, and complete dentures. As part of the planning process for implant treatment, models, x-rays, and photographs are taken so that we can best restore function and esthetics.

Very friendly customer service, over explaining a lot of things which makes you understand what’s happening. I’m glad this is my first dental clinic in Halifax I know I’m in good hands. Plus it’s nearby which is very convenient.

It was great! First time I’ve been at a dentist that was so efficient and only needed to freeze my mouth once. I really appreciated how fast I was taken in and how helpful the dental assitant and dentist were. Especially as I was nervous.

I changed to Halifax Dental on a friend's recommendation, after some unpleasant experiences with my previous longtime dental clinic. Since starting with Halifax Dental I've really enjoyed my experiences with the hygienists, as far as one can enjoy such a thing. My dentist, Dr Creaser, is really nice and doesn't talk down to me. Reception is lovely too. Great place.

This was an extremely pleasant experience! The office is modern, clean and well equipped, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and Dr. Logan was excellent. In addition to reviewing the dental x-rays he also showed me exactly what he was talking about with actual photos of the teeth and dental work in question. I've never had a doctor do that before and it was much more informative than just seeing the x-ray shots.

Absolutely NO Pain and I didn't even realize the procedure was finished. His assistant was amazing and they are so friendly. I recommend this dental office to anyone

I am a nervous wreck when it comes to Dentists, usually because of horrible past experiences (not enough freezing to mention one) but Halifax Dental Centre is a breath of fresh air! The staff are so friendly, and made me feel comfortable.

Dr. Stephen Creaser has a true passion/love for his job. He explains all of the steps he is taking and insured that I was completely comfortable (yay no pain!!). He also takes photos of your teeth! So at the end of your appointment you get to see (from his view) what he did, why and how! Its pretty (gross) cool!
Dr. Creaser's prices are really reasonable
