We received a gift certificate from Patricia's Cake Creations for our anniversary. We decided on using it for their "High Tea". Since the premises were not open for indoor eating, we opted for "High Tea To Go". We picked up our box of wonderful tea goodies and went to enjoy them by the lake at a picnic table. Everything was absolutely delicious - the freshly made sandwiches, the melt-in-your-mouth scones with raspberry preserves, lemon curd and clotted cream, crispy and buttery croissants and a very large assortment of finger pastries. There were enough goodies left over for the next day or two

Absolutely perfect! The cake for my Mom's big birthday couldn't have been better...Maria was a great help in choice and design and the final selection was created with such attention and the taste was sublime. It was a memory of another era and we are so happy we have found our new cake destination and are looking forward to returning.

HORRIBLE experience. I exchanged several texts with Patricia going back 4weeks prior to order date, including pictures of what I wanted: an over the top 3D cake with wording. I was quoted $250 which I gladly paid. It was to be a big reveal for my dtr’s grade 12 graduation. This is what I got! I was extremely disappointed. Not at all what we talked about. Patricia called that afternoon to ask for more time. Postpone pick up from 2pm to 5pm which I agreed to. Got there at 5pm with guests arriving at 6pm. I was shocked at this cake. Delicious cake!! We don't usually enjoy icing ftom other bakeries because it's usually too sweet. There was not a crumb left of our cake from Patricia's!! The sponge and icing was equally delicious. Customer service was warm, friendly, accommodating, and they were able to take a last minute order. Conveniently located on Dundas close to the humber river, a stones throw from bloor west and the Junction.

Patricia made the most delicious cake for my husband’s birthday. The frosting was so light and airy, made with beautiful quality chocolate, it was almost mousse-like. It had the most delicious moist chocolate cake inside. The cake was beautifully decorated and Patricia made a personalized sign for the cake. I would have no hesitation highly recommending anything from Patricia’s Cakes.

Loved, loved, loved this little charming place. I found about them online and when I gave them a call, I was pleased to be patiently given all the helpful information I needed in order to be able to order over the phone, a custom made cake. They accept orders over the phone and they work fast, taking orders even from one day to the other! Thank you for the delicious cake! We all loved it: chocolate cake with dark Belgian chocolate butter cream, covered in vanilla butter cream and airbrushed in pink.

The owner is one of the rudest people I've ever spoken to. Quality is below average. I don't believe their squares are homemade, they're definitely previously frozen as opposed to fresh baked, and they look exactly like what the wholesale big box store sells. Ordered from here weekly for five weeks without issue because I never come in contact with the horrible owner. And then I did. Never again will I give this place my business. Happy to support their nearby competitor.

Worst place ever. I called and sent pictures of the cake I wanted. I asked specifically I need cake for 4-6 people. & I was very specific that they did not understand. I came to pick up the cake, turned not the same I wanted as the picture showed. I saw a bigger cake in the store & I asked another customer how much inches was her cake because that was a decent size of cake, my cake was 6inch that they suggested and looked like it was for 2 people. The owner is so disrespectful she then started speaking to the other customers in my face if you are very specific and not let us free with it

Oh my Lordy!!! I ordered their cupcakes last minute to bring to a party, preferring to take a chance elsewhere rather than buy generic goodies from the grocery store (I can be lazy and unimaginative at times).
Man did this pay off! I thought I lost the taste for cupcakes but I guess it's just been a while since I had really good ones. I'm so use to cupcakes having sickly sweet cream (that I'd often scrape off) and dry, cardboard-tasting cake.
These were divine. Their cupcakes had super rich and buttery cream and the cake was moist and fluffy!

I wanted to serve the wedding cake as the dessert, so instead of making a 6-tier cake (we have 160 guests), she suggested doing a 3-tier cake for cutting and 2 sheet cake that went directly to the kitchen to be plated. Patricia did a phenomenal job with my cake. I gave her a Pinterest photo and said could you replicate this?! Did she ever! Her attention to detail was amazing! She matched the exact flowers that were in my wedding! Patricia was a pleasure to work with! She asked my family if we wanted any coffee, espresso and took great care of us!
For our wedding, she even customized a tier for us-Dark chocolate cake with salted caramel icing. The other tier was madagascar vanilla icing and red velvet cake. This was not your normal vanilla, this was real vanilla bean. The cake that she served us for the tasting

We ordered a wedding cake from Patricia and it exceeded our expectations. Everything from the taste to the look to the service was outstanding. Patricia really knows what she is doing! We ordered 3 different flavours for our cake - vanilla with strawberry cream, chocolate with raspberry cream, and mocha with dulce de leche. She accommodated 3 flavours for 3 layers with no additional cost. The cream was made with fresh fruit and you could really taste the difference. We opted with sugar flowers as decoration and the orchids and hydrangeas she crafted were beautiful. We would highly recommend Patricia

The taste is good but the price for what you get is far less than any other place I've used in the past. Not to mention the actual fondant work could have been better. It seemed very rushed to me but the taste was good as promised. I guess it's buyer beware. If you don't mind overpaying and the shop is convient for you than you could do worse.

Came here for Macaron Day and ended up buying half a dozen more besides the free one I got. It wasn't until we went elsewhere that we realized that was a bit of a mistake. Don't get me wrong, they tasted good. But they were small, expensive ($2.35 each) and not as good as many other bakeries I've tried. Maybe I'm spoiled from living right by Patisserie 27 but I definitely wished I'd picked up more at places besides here.
The store was nice, the staff friendly, and the cake samples looked pretty cool. I imagine actual cakes are their specialty so I wouldn't judge

Patricia created a little assortment of sweets to serve our clients at an event we held while we were in Toronto...and...oh my goodness...they were so delicious it it took all my willpower not to eat all the cupcakes myself! The cake was soft and moist and the buttercream was literally melt in your mouth! If you are looking to impress your party guests with a treat that is beautiful AND TASTES as good as it looks, then you cannot go wrong with Patricia's!

I know this review is late, but better late than never. Go back to November 2012, I was driving home and saw Patricia's Cake Creations on Dundas. Sign said coming soon. I was looking for that special birthday cake and did not know who to turn to. I called the number and spoke with Patricia herself. I advised what I needed and she stated that she would make the cake and I could pick it up from the store, even though they were not officially open yet. Wow what service. My partner was celebrating a Milestone and turning 50. A 50 year old but young at heart and addicted to "Angry Birds"

They were fantastic !
The cupcakes were nicely decorated and the butter cream was excellent.
You can pre-order, or just go into the shop and pick up the flavors they have out that day.
I did not pre-order and managed to get a good variety that the kids and adults all loved.
My sister said the vanilla lemon cupcake was the best cupcake she ever tried in her life.
Only thing is they are not nut free if someone has a nut allergy.
