West Ottawa Soccer Club
WOSC is 1 of 29 clubs with a license to play within the Ontario Player Development League. WOSC's Showcase program provides the tools, opportunities, and contacts to help players reach different pathways to University. The West Ottawa Soccer Club is THRILLED to announce that Scholars is coming on board as a major club sponsor!

Scholars will be the title sponsor of our Fall and Winter Wee Warrior and Mini Ball Mastery programs. Scholars is a Canadian education company which has a location in Stittsville and is dedicated to providing. As a result of Ontario Soccer's updated Return To Play (RTP) Guide and provincial framework released from Ontario, West Ottawa SC is finalizing policies to be implemented that pertain to proof of vaccine requirements and exemptions.
Services
All fall and winter programs will be led by WOSC Club Head Coach, Cathy Briggs, and WOSC Staff Coaches. Note that a parent/guardian MUST be present at every session. All parents/guardians attending a WeeWarriors session will be asked to provide proof of full (2 doses) vaccination at the start of each session.
WOSC will be following all Provincial and Ontario Soccer Return To Play Guidelines. As the restrictions are modified, the program will be modified to adhere to all restrictions. The details of all the restrictions will be confirmed prior to the start of the program. Our recreational league consists of weekly 1 hour games.
The winter divisions have a limited number of teams, register and pay early to avoid disappointment. Teams removed from their league will be refunded their full payment minus a $100 administrative fee. Facility cancellations beyond our control may occur. Players will be contacted as soon as possible via email.
OPDL is a 12 month, high-performance, standard based program where teams from throughout the province compete against one another. In the U13 OPDL league, no scores or standings will be kept. Focus is solely on development as players enter the Training to Train phase of LTPD. A player may request a trial/assessment on an individual basis by contacting Kwame Telemaque - k.telemaque@wosc.com.
This program has 15 training sessions. The soccer goalkeeper is one of the most important players on the field - they are the last line of defense and the first line of attack. To play the position well requires special skills and training. The mission of the Academy is to provide excellence in the pursuit of development.

Grateful to WOSC for amazing coaches who have continued to inspire and help our daughter navigate through her soccer career for the past 6+ years and grow in the competitive/OPDL program. Also great experience in the recreation program for our son for a couple years with passionate parent coach and fun environment for weekly practices and games.

Rude .. un-friendly, unprofessional people works here.
I saw today a man, saying he's a referee, started yelling then swearing at 2 kids with an adult.
Asking them to leave the field in Kanata and the man with the kids was asking him politely to be polite but no improvement.
Then the referee wanted to fight "in hands against the man" and the kids was scared. later the soccer team joined the referee which was really bad. the man and the kids left. That was before the game starts more than half an hour.
It was terrible to see a soccer team against a man with 2 kids.. I don't know what kind of

All three of my sons have been with WOSC for the past 6-7 years at different levels; recreational to OPDL. I have found the coaches to be excellent in attitude and care for athletes' well-being. The atmosphere very professional on and off the field.

My son has been with them since U4. I don't have anything but good things to say about this club. From their coaching, to their organization and to their community involvement. Great club overall and it is based out of Kanata which makes it very convenient for all those living in the west end.

We moved to WOSC this summer after several years with 2 good rural Clubs in Arnprior and Carleton Place. The transition went well! WOSC has shown terrific communication and they have been very engaging and welcoming to my son. The programming during Covid has also been well executed. 👍👍

My son did Wee Warriors age 4 for the first time and absolutely loved it! The coaches are very attentive to the kids and they actually help them develop soccer skills. A huge step up from the city-run program we tried before.

This organization features paid executives and paid coaches for the competitive levels. Their modus operandi is to entice as many players as possible into their unreasonably expensive competitive programs. Be wary when they contact you because your child should consider entering competitive programs, be informed before you move forward.
Be aware that your child will never play for the top tier teams if they do not play year round and participate in wosc's summer camps. Players for top tier teams are picked by who commits to year round play (think $$$ for the association). If you think that players
