I have yet to go to a restaurant that was as hospitable as this one. They accommodated our late arrival and served us one of the best tasting meals we have had. We have been to many Indian restaurants in the Kamloops area and this is our new #1 favourite. We highly recommend going to this location, not only for the scenic views while dining, but for the amazing hospitality and authentic cuisine. They also have a good variety of dishes that don't disappoint. You will find something that you like; and please try the Nepalese dishes, they are worth it!

Traveled from Calgary a couple weeks ago and wanted to try while we were passing through. The restaurant looked closed but we were in the parking lot with our dog and an employee pulled up. We explained our situation and even though they were not open, he graciously made us some samosas to go! They were delicious, fresh and he gave us the best service! I would recommend to anyone if they are in the area.

More than one person at my table said it was the best Indian food they ever had... and it was. Do not be fooled by the unassuming outside; I was skeptical about the recommendations from locals but when I got in I was pleasantly surprised.
The atmosphere in the restauraunt was elegant and sparkling clean. We had to wait a little to be seated because of all their takeout orders being picked up, but the staff was respectful and acknowledged us right away.
The service from our waitress was awesome. She was very sweet and was genuninely interested about our time in Kamloops.

Top knotch service extremely friendly. The food was the best Indian food I ever ate seriously awesome food. I won't dare try any other Indian restaurants in kamloops. These guys are awesome. The place looks little rough outside but once you step inside its sooo nice. Was not expecting that. Very nice setup inside. There chicken wings are fricking awesome. I love this place and I'm very picky person. Try it out will be blown away.if you don't you are missing out on awesome food. Cheers folks

I was staying at the Hospitality Inn, and it didnt take long for my curiosity to stir about Kohinoor. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and staff are equally as nice.
I had never tried anything quite like the Lamb Rogan Josh! Arguably one of the best dishes next to the Butter Chicken. Each portion of meat is tender and cooked/spiced to perfection! Every time I visit Kamloops I garuntee I'll be back to dine at Kohinoor with a smile on my face!

Totally impressed with this restaurant! The staff make you feel as if you are a guest in their own home. My friend and I arrived after closing time and they graciously served us.
The food was fantastic and we live in Vancouver where Indian food is very common with our huge South Asian population. My friend has also traveled to India many times!
The food was very much on par with my Indian friend's home cooking. I suspect that the cook and my friend come from the same region.
We had a tasty biryani, naan, grilled shrimps and paneer in a tomato sauce and vegetable pakoras. The server was happy
