Got some squares, a biscuit, and coffees to go. It was just OK. The biscuit was the best out of everything and kinda the saving grace for me. The squares were too sweet and not flavourful. The coffee was also sweet but I blame myself for not ordering a basic cap instead of one of the flavoured coffees.

Amazing food great for pick up. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I would give them five starts if they had somewhere to eat, it is hard to enjoy the food sitting in the car. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a healthy option or looking to get a great coffee. Only downside is no indoor seating.

Very inexpensive food, with a very expensive taste.
Incredible, house-made sandwiches and salads for takeout, in the ranks of chef quality. Brownies are to die for as well.
$13 for the sandwich and a side salad. I'll come back anytime I'm looking for a healthy lunch. Love it.

The lazy tulip is a great place to go eat. All the food was delicious and at a pretty good price. We got the Buddha bowls, Mediterranean sandwich, scrambled tofu, some tulip hash, and golden milk latte. The lattes were so tasty too, we decided later to get them and glad we did. Portions were good, as most things came with a side of salad or some focaccia. I'd recommend this to anyone in the area!

Pet hair all over my glass, pet hair all over my orange juice bottle, lint on utensils. I guarantee the owners have pets and they allow them in the restaurant. Clean the place up!! I can't imagine their home. I returned the orange juice and they still put it on the bill. They offered to take it off, but just get it together.

Fantastic service from a friendly and helpful server. Ordered the spinach and avocado poached eggs. It was delicious - the eggs were cooked to perfection! and the potatoes were fab too. The only thing I'd say is that the avocado wasn't ripe enough for me... But the dish was still yum! And I'll definitely be back!

Nice cafe and breakfast place in downtown Barrie. On the more Zen and veggie end compared to your typical American diner. Ambience is Buddhism symbols and light music. Food was pretty good and everything came with salad.
Our server was Michael who was attentive, fun, and gave good service.

Extremely Racist and rude owner- Michelle! Not a family friendly place!!
This place might be popular for its food but the server and service in the cafe is the worst I have ever seen. I am from Toronto and was visiting Barrie with my husband and one year old on a Saturday morning. We thought to explore this popular cafe since my daughter was starving. We reached the place as soon as it opened and we were the first customers. The server (Michelle) who is the owner of the place did not even greet us and was talking rudely about not having a reservation with them. We didn't feel good but didn

Ordered take out today. 3 salads and 1 coffee. It came as $50. Price is not the problem if the quality of the food is decent. Coffee is sour so we ended up having to drive to Tim’s 2 minutes away to get another coffee. The salad is very tasteless. My son seems to enjoy the bacon in his keto salad but chicken in it is not good. Will not come back.

The chicken club was outstanding! They use free range, locally raised chickens-- no cheap deli meat here!! Our sandwiches were made using a huge slices of soft focaccia bread and was garnished with real cheddar, tomatoes and a roasted red pepper mayo that complimented them perfectly. Our salad was full of fresh organic mixed greens with pumpkin seeds. The dressing was a home made tarragon basil mixture. They seem to offer more vegetarian options than non, but that would not deter me from ordering from them again.

I was in Barrie for work and looked up fun restaurants to visit while in town and this one definitely caught my eye. The service was fast, the food was fresh and the portions were generous. I got their tofu scramble which was delicious and very filling. Bravo, Barrie!

Horrible food!
How do you make salad uneatable???
By drowning it in olive oil with no salt or vinegar. It was just a greasy greenery. It was accompanied by a soggy slice of untoasted bread drenched in some more olive oil... Gross!!!

Stopped here for brunch on a Sunday. Place was busy but we easily got a table for 2. Apparently you can also make reservations

Service was great and efficient

Food was delicious! I had the avocado spinach Benny (only on weekends) which was amazing. Great hollandaise, and the home fries and salad was very flavourful . The eggs perfectly cooked. Probably one of the best brunch dishes I've ever had!

My husband had the classic breakfast. His only complaint was that it could've had a bit more protein. Again the flavours were great .

Definitely would return.!!

My boyfriend and I decided to visit this place after hearing many good things about it . It's got an amazing atmosphere. Cool art work on the walls, interesting furniture, etc. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is a tad expensive however you do get a lot . We split a chicken sandwich and each had iced tea. The iced tea was really bland at first but it's a really good palette cleanser. Wish we had got some dessert. Totally would go back just the food is quite expensive.

We had to drive from Toronto to Barrie and just had to stop at Lazy Tulip. It's conveniently located in town, is really well decorated and had great atmosphere, the service was quick and friendly. It's has a nice vibe to it. We had the smoked salmon benny(aka Pacific Benny in West Coast with lox) and the lox was like velvet. So fresh and clean tasting. The eggs were perfectly poached and just soft enough to not be runny. The hollandaise was smooth and rich and creamy. Perfect potatoes and even the coffee was so delicious (every cup made fresh instead of drip). We will make the 90 min

I came by for a coffee not realizing it is a brunch place. Staff was warm and decor is unique and fun for an outing. I was fortunate enough to get a window seat. I can't comment on the food but it was quite busy and looks like worth the visit for brunch.

A delicious meal met with an excellent server made for an all around wonderful dining experience.
Came here for brunch on a beautiful sunny Saturday and sat out on the patio. We weren't sure if we wanted breakfast or lunch,so we took a look at both menus. We both thought so many things sounded so good, making it a tough choice. My dining company had heard the huevos rancheros were some of the best around. I opted for the special which was eggs benny with smoked salmon on gluten free toast. We were both blown away! The dishes were terrific to say the least! I'll be back again for sure

My rating is 3.5 stars but dont know how to give half a star... but anyhow ...

Passing by Barrie and want to grab some food around noon time. We found this restaurant and decided to give it a try. This restaurant is quite cozy and the staff are quite friendly. We were there for a brunch on a Sunday and it feels quite comfortable in the restaurant. Maybe it's not as crowded as the brunch restaurant that I sometime go in Toronto on a Sunday.

Ordered the Egg Benny and when it arrived the table, the presentation of the dish is quite pretty. And when we take a byte of it, it's quite good

Insanely good eggs Benedict, not pay off regular breakfast menu. Good service, fresh food made from scratch. Vegan options.

We came here for breakfast. At about 11am on a Sunday, it wasn't too busy, which is nice. I ordered the Eggs Benedict (a special that day) and my friends had the classic breakfast and the huevos rancheros. We all LOVED our meals. I couldn't stop talking about the eggs benedict, which was made with hollandaise from scratch and came on top of some kind of thick, airy toast that seemed to be made of butter. Those who had coffee couldn't stop talking about how
