We work passionately toward creating the most youthful smiles for patients whose natural teeth require restoration or replacement. If your teeth are damaged in a way that makes it impossible to reconstruct them with fillings or you are missing one or more teeth, we can return the smile to your face as well as a strong bite and speaking ability with the use of advanced prosthetics.
A cavity/decay left untreated, eventually can cause extensive damage to a tooth, and potentially cause the root of the tooth to be infected. Generally a cavity won't hurt until it is quite deep. However, if the cavity is caught early, we can treat it with a simple filling, usually in one appointment.
If damage to the tooth is quite large, we will sometimes recommend a lab processed restoration. This adds more strength back to the tooth, especially the back molars that take most of the force from chewing. An 'inlay' sits within the cusps/bumps of the tooth and an 'onlay' replaces one or more cusps/bumps of the tooth.
