At Zavitz Family Chiropractic, Dr. Terry Zavitz and Dr. Meredith Smith strive to work along side each patient giving them hope in their God given ability to heal and be healthy. Our goal is to create long lasting relationships with our patients to impact their health over the long term. We use the latest in chiropractic research, techniques and technology to bring a high level of care and results.
When you first arrive there will be some brief paperwork to complete if you have not done so already. During your initial visit you will first meet our friendly front desk team. They will have you complete some brief paperwork describing yourself, your health history, and your health goals. Our doctors will then have a chance to review these, and then will sit down with you and discuss your reasons for coming to our office.
Most people are under the assumption that if they don't feel any pain that there is nothing wrong with them - that they are healthy. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. In fact, pain and other symptoms frequently only appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced.
Every month during my period I would get painful cramps and terrible headaches. I had a numb feeling in my hands and feet. Every year I would be flat out on my back: twice out of the year - pain in my lower back and in the neck. Since being under regular chiropractic care I don't have any numb feeling in my hands and feet.

Because we don't come with an owner's manual, knowing how our body works and how we can look after it better is sometimes a missing piece of living our best. We love to educate our community on living your best with energy, vitality and fully function in all our parts.

After my initial consultation, he presented the findings and the treatment plan. I knew the treatment would be intensive to get me back to a well-functioning state so I opted for the one year plan as I found the savings to be considerable.
After a few weeks, my range of motion increased dramatically and the pain was manageable without Advil. It didn't take long before I looked forward to my adjustments, as I always felt so much better afterward.
