Come visit us today and let us tell you about our modern, family-oriented experience. Dr. Andrew Yang graduated from U.B.C. Science in 1994 and U.B.C. Dentistry in 1998. Thereafter, he furthered his training as a General Practice Resident at Vancouver General Hospital, B.C. Cancer Agency and U.B.C. Specialty Clinic.

For the convenience of our patients, our office is open six days a week (closed Sundays). Evening hours are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and weekend hours are available every Saturday. Dr. David Yu is the best . He’s very gentle, thorough and attentive . His office is spotless, and he has the most amazing staff . My children love their visits and always look forward to the dentist now . I have had many bad experiences other places and found Terra Nova dental to be the best in Richmond ! We will never go anywhere else ❤️!

This dentist filled my lower right molar instead he should have done a root canal. I was in severe pain for a week and he was on vacation so he couldn't prescribe me any antibiotic. He said we need to do a root canal now. So I made an appointment but I missed it due to a family emergency.
So after taking the Antibiotic for a week, the pain came back after a month and I made an appointment to see him. I walked in the clinic, from his secretary to dental hygienist and the dentist himself were after me for missing the appointment and dr yu clearly said "I am not lecturing you but as business

Seriously the WORST dentist i have ever been to.
Booked appointment day before as i was having major pain. Was told for sure they would be able to do x rays and at least come up with a treatment plan. Came in for my appointment.. the dentist was rude and impersonable.. looked in my mouth for 2 minutes then said .. well we will have to do a full mouth xray come back in 10 days when I have time. I said I'm here now and they told me yesterday you would do xrays... and I'm in pain!
He just looked at me callously and said I can't.
Just like that.
Lost a very good potential patient

I decided to come here based on all the great Yelp reviews. I was pleasantly surprised at how right everyone was! Dr. Andrew Yang was super knowledgeable, straight to the point, thorough with each teeth he inspected and was not in a rush to get me out of the chair. I got to use the camera to see inside my mouth and on the TV set hanging from the ceiling and Dr. Yang could show me what he saw. I wish every dentist was this patient.
Naomi was awesome with my insurance and quick to help me do a per-estimate for a night guard and a filling. I loved the personal phone calls to remind me the day before

Great friendly receptionists, hygienist, doctors. they keep me comfortable in the waiting room and comfortable while performing cleanings and surgeries.
they seem to be open to upgrading equipment as well since they've been using newer cleaning tools for visits in recent years
sunglasses are offered as well as television.
have had nothing but a great experiences over the past 15 years.

I don't know anyone who is a fan of the dentist but I have to say that I have a top notch experience every visit.
First off the waiting room is filled with worthy reading material and appts are on time.
Hygienists are friendly and efficient. TV is on and shades are recommended.
Dentists are gentle and quick. You get the feeling that they really do know what they are doing and that they are not simply trying to make even more money.
Another added bonus is the parking- it's free and there's lots of it! It makes me smile every time.
Definitely worth the trip to Richmond.
