In 1998 the idea, concept and establishment of Bread & Butter Bakery began. With the support and encouragement from my husband and two girls, I turned my love of baking into a career. With their help, along with a great staff and loyal customers, the bakery has grown more than we could have ever imagined.
I grew up in a family where home-cooked meals happened daily, and Mom was always serving up fresh home baked goodies. She was the first one to teach me how to cream my butter and crack my eggs. I continued baking and cooking while starting my own family, until one day I decided to take the plunge and enrol in the Culinary Arts Program at Niagara College.

Heat in the oven at 325°F for approximately 25 minutes. If you notice the crust getting dark place a piece of foil loosely over the top. To test for warmth, place a knife down the centre of the pot pie, if the knife comes our hot you're ready to serve!. Stopped in for a quick pastrie during the Christmas season. Capacity was limited to five customers, but the staff moved people through quickly, and were friendly and helpful, doing it.
Despite the late hour in the day, there was still a great selection of cakes, cookies, breads and others bites of goodness.
Oh: the apple danish is heavenly.

Their lemon ginger scones are to die for. And their ham croquettes are the best. Too bad I keep missing when they have them. Lovely place. Oh and had their carrot cake( without raisins, special order for daughter's birthday) with cream cheese icing...ohhhhh so good. Forgot to post this a while back. Special ordered multiple ham croquettes a few week ago. Yum! And today we picked up another carrot cake! Beautiful. Plus some scones, biscuits and a raspberry macaroon, delightful

Hands down the best pie in town, and beyond. Beautiful buttery flaky crusts, perfect fillings (not goopy or too sweet), and a great selection. Over the years we’ve tried their apple, cherry, blueberry, raspberry and bumble berry - all incredible. (We are from Toronto and despite our efforts we can’t find pie as delicious and well made there.) Their breads are delicious too - we’ve had their sourdough and challah. All in all B&B is a true gem.

Had my wedding cake made here. It came with a fluffy, light buttercream icing that was to die for! Twenty one years later we celebrated our anniversary with a coconut cream pie from here and let me tell you… the crust was soft , tasty and cooked to perfection. The topping was just the right amount of sweetness. 100 % recommend this place for all your baking needs they never disappoint.

Got the Valentine’s Day dinner & we absolutely loved it! Packaged well & had the cutest paper with heating instructions. Was the perfect way to relax together at home with something nice to eat & not have to… exhaust myself cooking a fancy dinner from scratch. My bf also grabbed a chocolate mousse cake that was delicious - super chocolatey but nice & light at the same time. I also order cookies from here regularly for work events & the delivery is reliable & our students love them.

Placed an online order for a cake for the Thursday before Easter. No where on the website or their Facebook does it say they are only doing certain things for Easter. My order is charged to my credit card and 24 hours later I don’t even get the decency of a call but an email for the online booking engine that the order had been cancelled. I call,… am told that despite not having anything up on the website or Facebook they are only doing certain things and that my order was cancelled late because they were “busy” Poor customer service and business practice! Edit: Came for lunch around 1pm and it was very busy but we did not wait too long. Ordered a chia tea latte and was told there was no Milk and almost no cream (my mom got the last) to be had in the building. That was disappointing for a place that is a Breakfeast/Lunch spot. So Ive had to reduce my previous review by one start. Food was good and service was still excellent.
Delicious food and very friendly staff. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The prices are moderate and they have a bakery right next to the restraunt so you can grab a snack to go.
