Before being referred here I was having wicked lower back pain for years. The muscle right above my tailbone would seize up regularly, and eventually the pain spread to my hips and knees. I ultimately ended up with a pinched nerve in my hip and chronic inflammation around several discs.
My massage therapist told me I wasn't dealing with a slipped disc yet, but if I didn't figure this out I would be. She called in a physiotherapist who, to my surprise, said all my problems were because I was walking wrong.

I made an appointment as a new patient. Unfortunately I could not make my appointment and called the clinic 24 hours ahead of time to try and reschedule. The receptionist informed me that they had a 48 hour cancellation policy and that no exceptions would be made. I had to pay a $50 fee which I felt was unfair since I was a new patient and did not realize this was their policy.

I wish I had went to Dr. Main sooner! After having problems with a toe for months, being on and off antibiotics that didn't work, and getting an absolutely horrible procedure done by a GP, seeing Dr. Main and the staff at Active Podiatry was such a relief. After the bad procedure I was in so much pain, after Dr. Main's procedure I barely felt a thing and was back on my feet hours later.
They booked me in after hours to get the procedure done so that I could be fixed up as soon as possible. I am so grateful for this business and its amazing staff!
