I worked at Stene bros for 8 years, we parted ways about a year ago so the company is a little different now as the economy has forced everyone to evolve and find new ways to survive. My days with Stene were some of the best and most fun I've had, I met some of the best people and got to work with and learn from industry elites, the company was… supportive and always was willing to step up and make sure any concerns I had were addressed to the best of their ability. Not only did I meet my wife and start my own family while I was there I also felt like part of their family from my first day

They don't pay their bills. The company I work for was contracted to do some work in April and they still haven't paid their bill in full and now Stene Bros says they're not going to! Not because they were unhappy with our service but because of the government is what they said even though they promised for months they would pay.

I have worked in the oilfield for over 20 years. In those 20 years due to contractor restrictions within approved vendors lists I was unable to ever utilize Stene Bros. What I can tell you from my experience with them as people they are world class, care about their community, provide quality service, have too notch equipment and take tremendous pride in what they do.

Stene Bros absolutely takes care of their employees. I've been in the industry 17 years 8 of which has been with Stene's. They're the best employers I've ever had. You get out what you put in, and I'm looking forward to a long career here. Times are getting tough in the patch no doubt. The companies that make it through this downturn and the NDP government will be reaping the rewards, and we're looking forward not backward!
